"Adora, can you step into my office for a second?" The gym manager requested as Adora finished one of her personal trainer classes.

"Oh, yeah, I'll be right there." Adora's attention was shifted to the buff pink woman who was her boss. After scheduling the next class with one of her clients, Adora paced around the gym in the direction of the manager's office.

Adora always had a good relationship with her manager, since she started working she didn't have any problems with her boss.

After knocking twice, she heard a voice come from inside.

"Come in."

Adora stepped into the office and saw that the manager sat by her desk, looking at the computer screen. The blondie walked towards the desk and sat down.

"So, apparently your last two classes have been canceled. The client just called the gym and let us know that they can't make it today." The manager known as Huntara explained. Adora frowned, she hated when people canceled last minute.

"Oh, that's unfortunate, what should I do then?" Adora asked, confused since she wouldn't have anything else to do.

"Well Adora, you've been working hard and since we hired you, our clients have been very satisfied. So I'll let you go home early today, you will still be paid for these two missed classes." Huntara smiled, her sausage fingers still tapping against the keyboard, probably typing on the gym's schedule.

"Really? Thank you so much. I'll see you tomorrow then." Adora got up from the chair, excited to go home earlier.

"No problem, see you." Huntara waved as Adora paced towards the door.

'I'll be able to surprise Catra coming home earlier.' Adora smiled, it had been a week since Catra's heat incident. It was tough, but her girlfriend felt much better now (After a week of wild hardcore sex).

After a quick shower at The Scissoring Gym and packing her backpack, Adora was ready to go back home. But she decided to do something nice, she passed by a sweet shop and got six strawberry donuts for her favorite person.

'Catra will be so happy.' Adora grinned at the thought of doing a cute action to her lover. 'I wonder what she's doing right now...'

Catra still didn't look for a job, it was understandable, considering that she just went through her heat period. But Adora always wondered what Catra was doing with her time. She knew that sometimes the brunette would go out with Scorpia, but most days Catra spent her time playing videogames.

Adora walked towards the bus stop, her apartment was only five stops away. On her way to the bus, there was a sad looking man asking for change, Adora didn't have any on her, but she felt melancholic seeing that old man in that situation.

"Spare some change?" The crusty man begged.

"I'm sorry, I don't have any. Would you like a donut instead?" Adora opened the donut box, offering him one.

"Yes! Please, last time I ate was many moons ago." The homeless raised his hand to accept the donut from Adora. "Can I have more than one?"

"I'm sorry, the rest are for someone important." Adora gave a genuine smile.

"Selfish bitch." The homeless man whispered, taking a bite of his donut.

"What?!" Adora was shocked.

"You heard me, beat it, kid." The man gave Adora the middle finger.

'How rude.' Adora walked away upset about the incident. Maybe she should've given him more.
