Way out

It was 30 minutes before class in Etheria college, the corridors filled with students. Catra walked through the hallways while looking at a white sheet paper. She skimmed through it trying to figure out where her first class was.

Catra signed up for fashion and design, she always had interest in clothes and outfits. So it didn't seem like a bad idea. She walked around the corridor without looking ahead and eventually she bumped into someone. Which was bound to happen.

"WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING!" Catra yelled even though she knew she was at fault. When she opened her eyes she realized the girl she bumped into ended up falling on the floor and her books also fell down. She quickly regretted being so hot-headed.

"I'm sorry, i just had a long morning." She apologized and extended her arm and the girl accepted it and got up.

"Oh it's fine no worries, i get it" The girl said. She was tanned with side cuts and the rest of her hair in dreadlocks.

"Name's Lonnie, nice to meet you, and this is my friend Kyle" she pointed out a shy boy who was next to her. Catra didn't even realize he was there, some people are just invisible to everyone else she thought.

"My name is Catra, can you help me out? I signed up for fashion and design and I can't find the room for the class." Catra didn't like asking for help but she didn't know what to do by this point.

"Oh no way, actually I'm also signed up for this class, I can walk with you" She replied with a grin.

"Thanks I guess" Catra said as they walked to class.

"You're actually the cutest girl I've seen in this school until now" Lonnie said confidently.

'Where does she find the confidence to say that? She doesn't seem shy at all.' Catra thought to herself.

"Thanks, you're not too bad yourself" She said with a grin.

Adora met up with Glimmer in the corridors before class and she ended up updating her on what happened.

"YOU SLEPT IN THE BED WITH HER??" Glimmer shouted loudly.

"Shhhhh shut up Glimmer!" Adora shouted as she covered Glimmer's mouth with her palm.

"Okay, okay, I'll be quiet" She struggled to speak while her voice sounded muffled until Adora let her go.

"I just can't believe you Adora, the second day you met her and you're already so horny!" Glimmer said trying to hold her laughter.

"What?? I wasn't horny! It was innocent... Anyway, I'll give this a try, I'll invite her to the party on friday." Adora sighed, she should've known her friend would give her a hard time.

Glimmee looked at her phone and had a sudden worried expression.

"Hey, we are gonna be 2 minutes late, we have to go to our fashion class" She reminded Adora.

"Shoot, I can't be for my first class!" Adora said almost panicking.

They all ran through the corridors until they arrived at the class.

They opened the door slowly, hoping they could sneak in and the teacher looked at them emotionless, until she smiled and said "Hello, my name is Netossa, I'll be your fashion professor, today is the first day and I know it must've been hard to find my class, you can sit in the back row" The teacher said pointing to the back.

"Thank you professor!" Adora said as she walked to the back, until she saw someone familiar sitting on the desk in front of hers.

"Hey Adora" Catra said with a flirtatious tone. Which made Adora blush.

"H-hey Catra, I'll sit behind you okay?" She let her know as she sat down.

"Suit yourself" She replied without looking back.

Glimmer ended up seating on the same row next to Adora, grinning to herself because they didn't get into trouble.

The class went on, they learned how to do draw their ideas and take measurements. All students were given a piece of cloth, in hope to turn it into a simple T-shirt.

Everything was going fine but one thing kept bothering Adora.

The whole class a tanned girl with dreadlocks was trying to talk to Catra, she even passed a note to her and after Catra read it she laughed quietly.

'What was written on the note? And how can she make Catra laugh so easily? Also why am i feeling this way? It's not like I really like her anyways' Adora frowned. Just half and hour ago she had decided that she would try to make a move on the brunette, but apparently now she has competition.

"Psshh, Adora" Glimmer waved at her, catching Adora's attention.

"Are you okay?" She whispered again.

Adora ripped a piece of paper and wrote "The girl sitting in front of me is my roommate, but i think the girl on the left is hitting on her, its pissing me off. " She passed to Glimmer, who after reading looked at her with an understanding expression and wrote down on the back of the paper  "You need to stop being jealous, maybe they're friends!"

As Glimmer passed the note back, the professor realized and spoke out loud. "One thing I do not tolerate is gossiping and passing notes while I'm in the middle of an explanation! If you want to pass notes you have to stand up and read out loud what you wrote." Suddenly everyone looked back at Adora, including Catra. Adora blushed and her hands started sweating. She couldn't read out loud what was written.

"I-I'm sorry. I won't do it again" That's all the words that could find a way out of her mouth.

"Nonsense, stand up and read it out loud" Netossa raised her voice with an assertive tone, already losing her patience.

All eyes were on Adora, she was sweating, looking for a way out. There was none.
