Friendship

Adora waited in the lobby for her two best friends to come until she saw both of them heading her way and jumping into a hug.

"Lets go explore this place" Bow said enthusiastically while putting both his arms on the girls shoulder.

They walked past the parking lot of the campus and reached a beautiful garden with exotic flowers.

"Wow, I didn't know we had such a beautiful garden near our dorms." Glimmer said shocked.

"Lets sit here on this bench, i wanna talk to you guys about something" Adora pointed to a blue painted bench that had a stunning view to all the plants.

The trio sat down and waited for Adora to continue.

"Is something bothering you Adora?" Bow said with a worried look on his face.

"Oh no-no. I met my roommate, she is fine, I just- i just can't seem to figure her out" Adora couldn't find the right words to explain what she was feeling.

"I walked in on her while she was dancing in the living room, she seemed a bit bothered by it but then after a while she cooked lunch for us and we talked. She is really nice and beautiful and funny and she dances well and she is mysterious-" Adora kept rambling on until Glimmer decided to interrupt her.

"Adora, are you crushing on your roommate?" She said with a grin and Bow laughed.

"M-me? Of course n-not, it would be so awkward, we both live together and I don't want any drama you know?" The blondie tried to save herself from her friends but they saw right through her.

"You know Adora, just take your time to get to know her, my roommate told me in the end of the week there is a party, if you want, you can invite her" Bow tried helping her friend.

"I'll see how it goes, anyway thanks for the invite, and tell me about your roommates?"

"Oh my god, my roommate is the coolest guy ever!!! He used to be a sailor and he has a beautiful voice and a mustache-" Bow started fangirling and Glimmer seemed a little bothered by it. 

"Well my roommate doesn't really seem to care about anything, she keeps saying "whatever" or "anyways i don't care" all the time. But she isn't bad i mean, she just doesn't seem to give a damn" Glimmer added.

Adora listened to them talk about their roommates, but every now and then she felt like she was missing something. She wanted to go back to her flat, but she didn't know why.

Classes are supposed to start next day and she needed to get her stuff ready she thought.

"Hey guys, I'm gonna go to the store to get some groceries and I'll pack for tomorrow. See your guys" She said while giving both of them a hug.

'Ill buy some sweets for Catra, I don't know what she likes but I guess I can get many different kinds and she must like one of them' She told herself while going to the market.

Back at the flat, Catra finished decorating her room. She had a lot of videogame posters such as Life is strange. She had calmed down since lunch and started feeling bored. Like the apartment was too quiet. She left her room and looked for Adora but she wasn't there. Instead, she called Scorpia.

"Hey Wildcat, whats up?" It wasn't ringing even one second and she had already picked it up.

'Doesn't she do anything with her life? How did she pick it up so fast' Catra thought in surprise.

"Hey do you wanna come over now? I wanna talk" Catra asked nicely.

"Sure thing, I'll be there in a jiffy" Scorpia replied.

Catra walked over the couch and sat down turning on the TV.

KNOCK KNOCK

'Already? Where does she think she is? The marathon?'

Scorpia walked in and sprinted to the couch to hug Catra making her lose her breath.

"Catra I'm so glad you called, i need to tell you something, my roommate is incredible!! She loves flowers so our flat is full of them, she likes to meditate and her hair is so beautiful-" Scorpia got interrupted by Catra who was still stuck in her embrace almost not breathing.

"Oh I'm sorry, these pincers are just too strong sometimes I don't realize" she apologized while letting Catra go. She gasped for air, almost seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

"Okay, next time please be careful I almost died now." She said, still panting.

"No problem, your place is nice, similar to my flat actually, so, where is your roommate?" Scorpia looked around, but no sight of her.

"Oh I think she left to do something..." there was almost a pinch of sadness in her voice.

"Tell me Catra, what's up? I know you, you can tell me anything" Scorpia said with an understanding look in her eyes.

"I don't know- it's just- I don't know. She is really beautiful and cute, I kinda like being around her but I dont wanna feel this way. I don't wanna get attached." Catra said while holding her knees to her chest and looking down.

"Hey, it's okay, how about you take it slow? She would be lucky to have you, you are amazing. Let things flow, whatever happens, happens. Nice quote right? My roommate told me today, she loves yoga and meditation" Scorpia said with her eyes shining.

"Sounds like your roommate is a damn hippie, does she even shower?" The brunette said with a grin, which received a laugh from scorpia. And she leaned over and started tickling her feline friend.

"Stop it" Catra said while laughing.

"Alright, I'll have to go, can i hug you?" Scorpia opened her arms offering an embrace.

Catra leaned in and hugged with some force, she was glad she had a best friend who cared about her. The only person who never left her.

While they hugged, the doorknob opened slowly.

And she saw Adora walk in, with her smile disappearing from her face.
