“Your glass is empty. Care for another shot?” A middle-aged customer held Sean’s glass, deliberately touching his fingers as he took it. He’d been eyeing the beautiful young man since the moment he arrived at the bar with his friend.
Sean let go, leaving the glass to the man, “No, thanks. I still gotta drive.”
The man flashed a seductive smile to Sean. The tall, dark, and good looking man can already be considered a blessing to the eyes of the ladies and gays inside the bar, yet his gaze held a hint of someone who is just looking for a prey to devour for the night. “It’d be my pleasure to drop you home.”
“Thanks, but excuse me.” He may still be young but he knows very well that a lot of perverts and sex craving DOM are lurking in night bars and are capable of entrapping the one they think can quench their lust. He’d better go home now than be sorry later. He grabbed his bag, stood up, and left the man who eyes him lustfully. It seems the man is waiting for the fat chance that Sean would stumble from getting tipsy but was in bad luck, for the young man was still able to hold himself up though feeling a bit groggy.
Sean went to the next lounge where his bestfriend, Nie Huaisang, was dancing to a seductive song with his boyfriend, with the man’s hand roaming on his behind. The guy arrived minutes after them. It never took him 30 minutes to take away Huaisang from him, thus leaving Sean to drunk himself alone.
'I should have never came here in the first place' Sean thought wryly. It never occurred to him that his friend already have a deal with his boyfriend to meet at the bar before picking him up from his work. He felt lonelier now seeing his friend enjoying the moment with his partner.
'They've been dating for 3 years...lucky Huaisang. He's enjoying his early twenties with someone, unlike me who has NBSB...no, it should be NPSB, no partner since birth. Poor me.' This is his life...and he hates it.
'I would never go out with Huaisang again', he lectured himself. Of course he made this promise to himself all the time, but his friend would always goad him:
"What better would you do with your life other than sit behind your desk and work your ass off as if you've got dozens of children to feed?"
Indeed Huaisang was his bestfriend, but they were so different from each other.
'No more night outs', he repeated to himself. 'No more of these hungry-eyed guys who think you're ready for ass ramming if you come inside a bar.'
He intended to say goodbye to his friend but now abandoned the idea. Seeing Nie Huaisang so preoccupied with his dancing, he never bothered a word and turned abruptly and nearly collided with a guy still in his business suit.
“Oopps, I’m shorry, Sirrr...” Sean apologetically said to him.
“Oh, it’s ok, no harm done.” He was about to continue his glides when he saw that the young man was about to stumble. He hurriedly grabbed his arms to prevent him from falling down.
“Are you ok?”
Sean just tapped the stranger’s hand on his left arm then gave a thumbs up to tell him he’s fine. Somehow the stranger wasn’t convinced so he insisted on supporting him and led him to a vacant lounge.
Sensing that the corporate guy doesn’t have any ill intension unlike the middle-aged man from the wine bar, Sean just let the guy lead him to rest on the couch comfortably. He closed his eyes for a while, his mind is still normal except for the fact that he’s a bit drunk. He tried to open his eyes and saw the man talking on his phone while eyes seem to roam the corners of the bar.
