Since Sean needs to wake up earlier for work, Yibo didn't bothered him that much except for persuading him to finish the content of the food box sent by his Mom. As much as he wants to stay longer, he contained his urge to have a full make out with his man despite the pain that was building on his crotch. It was almost midnight when Yibo bid Sean good night.

When he arrived home, Haikuan was still awake, leaning on the door frame, with a glass of whiskey on hand and looks agitated. It seems his Kuange is bothered by something and wanted to talk, as if waiting for him.

"Can't sleep 'Ge?" asked Yibo.

"Can we have a talk bro?" Haikuan asked, making Yibo suddenly feel a thumb thumping on his chest.

"Shoot." Yibo managed to reply calmly and sat on the couch while looking at Haikuan who went to pour a glass of whiskey for him.

"Is there any problem 'Ge?" Yibo asked while taking the glass of whiskey from Haikuan.

Haikuan heaved a deep sigh before answering, "It's not actually a problem... it's rather an intriguing matter, an unexpected revelation..."

"Does it concern me?"

"Partly... and indirectly, yes."

"C'mon big bro, spill the beans. There's just the two of us here."

Haikuan heaved another deep sigh before taking a seat beside his didi.

"Do you know anything about Sean? Did he told you anything about his family background?"

Yibo went baffled at what his Kuange asked. He can easily say yes because that's the truth. Yet somehow, he feels that it's better to act innocent at the moment to avoid derailing his plans.

"Uhm, about half a month ago, he opened up a little, his life together with his grandma."

"Just that?"

"Mm. Why? Is there something more or anything else I need to know?"

Haikuan heaved a sigh again before spilling the beans.

"Since you are Sean's lover, my didi, and I trust you, I don't want to keep you in the dark.''

Yibo felt guilt pinched his chest. He wanted to do the same for his Kuange. It's not that he doesn't trust him. He wanted to tell the truth too... when the time is right and everything was settled. But since his older brother has taken the initiative to "talk it out", might as well just go with the flow and act innocent.

"Do you know that Sean actually came from a very prominent business clan? The Xiao Empire..."

Yibo pretended to be shocked and reacted "Is that for real? Are you sure about what you are talking about 'Ge?"

"Based on the informations I have gathered, it is true."

"Wait Ge, what do you mean gathered? Are you conducting some background check on Sean? I don't think he knows anything about it...''

Haikuan suddenly felt alarmed by Yibo's tone of questioning so he hastily answered "Oh, Wangjie, don't get me wrong! It's not what you think. Listen first, ok?"

Yibo just looked at Haikuan in baffled silence, a sign that he may continue what he wants to spout.

Haikuan began... "Yesterday, the CEO of NHS Steel Corp approached me, pleading to have my law firm represent someone. I was shocked to find out that it was actually Sean whom we are going to represent. What's more shocking is that he was a victim of a massive identity fraud that stripped him off of everything that he has."

So that was it. Yibo didn't think that Mr. Nie will refer the matter to his brother's law firm. On one thought, he was thankful that it was Haikuan's firm that is going to represent Sean.
