Chapter 9

Yibo suddenly felt excited to see him work so he ask the HR when Sean will start working as their new graphic artist.

"Sir, he's suppose to start working in two days but if you have any objections, I could reschedule it."

"No, no...just go with the itinerary."

"Ok, Sir..."

I'lll be out of the country for a week starting tomorrow. He suddenly felt sad. He won't be able to congratulate him personally since the next day is his flight schedule.

Sean will surely call or text me once he received his congratulatory. How will I tell him that he's actually hired in my very own company? Will he believe me if I tell him that I am hands off with the selection process?

( Eeyy...the smitten boy is bothered)

He remembered how Sean strongly rejected his job offer. In that very moment, he could pretty well ascertain that Sean isn't the type to rely on connections to achieve something. But it seems fate is playing on his luck. Who would know that Sean would actually apply and be hired in his company?

The following morning, Sean was having his breakfast when his phone rang. It was the HR of WE congratulating and asking him to report to his work the next day.

After hanging up, Sean became silent, absorbing what the caller had just informed him. After a few moments of contemplation, he went inside the bathroom and closed it.

I was chosen... I'll start working tomorrow... he muttered in a daze.

"Aaahhhhh...!!! Thank you Lord, thank you so much...! You made it  Sean!" he screamed infront of the bathroom mirror.

He called Huaisang to share the good news.

"Ummm... yes beshy... wazzup?"

"Aaahhhhhh... beshy, I nailed it!" Sean screaming on the phone out of joy.

"Yah! You wanna break my eardrum besh?" Huaisang responded in a fake angry voice.

"Ah...he he...sorry besh... I'm just so happy..." says Sean, giggling.

"Yeah... it's quite evident in your
tone. Congratulations by the way... You gotta treat me soon. When are you gonna start?"

"Tomorrow."

"Wow, that's great! You've got your dream job back in just a matter of time."

"And that's because of you besh...thank you so much..love you...muah muah muah..!"

"Eww...stop that Zhannie... it's making me cringe!" Huaisang retorted making Sean burst in laughter at the other end.

"Uhm, besh...can I ask you a favor?"

"Yes beshy, what is it?"

"I know it's your off from work. Would you mind shopping out with me today?"

"Uhm...dear I'd love to, but the thing is..."

"Who's that Honey?" a man suddenly ask from the background making Huaisang hurriedly cover the receiver.

"Hello... besh...?"

"Yes besh...he he.."

"Don't tell me you're cuddled with your milk boy?"

"Ha?...er...besh..."

"Ok, I get it. I won't spoil your Milk and Honey session."

"Talk to you later besh... Congratulations again..."
