chapter 9:Get together

I didn't have work for a couple of days as I started to hang around Steven, amethyst, and Tsume. In order for her to hang around Steven and the others, Jasper would tag along as well as she was being The bodyguard but she would stay somewhere in a corner with her legs crossed and eyes closed at this she could tell if tsume moved or anything.

"She's not really going to stay here all day is she ?"

I asked her as she looked at the orange gem

"Jasper is meditating at the moment, so it's best if you save meditating and not on killing spree"

She said what a giggle, the only ones that didn't find it so amusing was me and Steven.

"Whatever, let's play a great rounding game of guess who"

Amethyst said pulling out the board game

"Oh Amy you know exactly my favorite game. But I hope you know you're going to lose"

"You wish but you can sure as hell try"

Amethyst says that the two of them stare down at each other ready for the challenge, I didn't know tsunami was competitive she didn't look like the competitive side but I already knew that it was all a great act of fun. An hour later of playing Guess who, it was actually a tiebreaker between Amy and tsunami. Me and Steve and gave up playing because they were actually competing against each other and not with us it was supposed to be girls versus boys game but I guess they forgot about the rules

"Ha! I win!"

Tsume shouted while jumping up to her feet and doing a little dance

"You cheated and you know it!"

"I don't have X-ray vision Amy and I wouldn't want to cheat at a game that I love"

"I think you play this game a little too much"

Amethyst said, rolling her eyes as she congratulated tsume on her winning and then went to the kitchen to get some food. Steven also joined her since he was getting hungry as well and said he'll bring us some snacks. It was just Tsume and I was sitting in the circle but her attention turned to Jasper who was still in the corner alone.

"I'll be right back"

she said to me as she crawled over to Jasper on her hands and knees when she finally made it over to Jasper, Jasper open one eye and saw Tsume staring up at her

"Love me"

She said and shook her booty as if she was being a doggy. I wish I was seeing things but I could have sworn I saw a slight blush over Jasper's cheeks, as Jasper chuckled and ruffled her hair telling her to go back playing with her friends only for Tsume to throw herself onto Jasper's lap and gave out a little bark like a puppy

"Love me, Jasper!"

She said in a baby tone voice, I didn't know what was going on but it was super cute to see her act this way, let alone this was the only time I got to see her act this way. I don't know why but for some weird reason I really wish she was like that with me.

*Wait could it be true that I am in love with tsume *

I thought as I tried to stop my blushing face.  I shook my head from this and thought about something else to calm my nerves.

"Get a room you too!"

Amethyst said whistling, she was trying to embarrass tsunami and Jasper

"be quiet Amy you're just jealous !"

Tsume shot back amethyst laughed. It seemed like the two of them were just playing while throwing insults at each other

I got sandwiches, who wants some?

Steven asked while breaking up their little sissy fight

"I do!"

Tsume said well heading over to where Steven was with the trail of sandwiches and I joined them as well in the kitchen. Tsume took four sandwiches on a plate and went to sit next to where Jasper was

"Isn't that sweet she's trying to feed Jasper"

Steven said, I thought it was nice of her trying to stuff a PB&j sandwich in her bodyguard's face but it seemed to be making a mess

"Will you stop doing that!"

Jasper shouted as soon as we ignored her and took a bite of her sandwich and only stuck her tongue at her. When playtime finally came to an end Jasper wanted to go home but tsunami wanted to stay a bit longer, not getting that wish granted Jasper carried her out over her shoulders as soon as he said goodbye to her friends as they left out the door

"I get the feeling that Jasper has mostly control over her life"

I said as Steven only looked at me and told me I was wrong, both tsume and Jasper lived and one certain rule but other than that they're relationship is practically normal it's just how they are.

"I guess I'll head home too

I said while heading to the door only to be stopped by amethyst who wanted to have a word with me

"What is it Amy?"

"Don't act like I didn't see you"

She said with a smirk as I looked at her confused

"you were trying to put the moves on Tsume when me and Steven were in the kitchen"

I can feel my cheeks heat up a bit when she said that making her burst out and laughter

"Ha! I knew it, I knew that you had a crush on Tsume!"

She shouted loudly while laughing again, I tried to keep her quiet so she wouldn't be too loud about it but I'm pretty sure that everyone in Steven's house heard it

"can you please stop screaming, and yes if you must know I guess you were right I do have a crush on her, but I wasn't trying to make a move on her I just wanted to talk to her. But I didn't even get to do that since she was too busy about Jasper"

I said as amethyst only shook her head giving me the tisk tisk

"Bro, I already told you that's two of them are together, just because you're trying to make a move on her she's not going to acknowledge you while Jasper's in the room"

"okay fine if you know so much how can I get tsunamis attention without Jasper being there?"

I asked amethyst as she had a big Grant on her face and then cleared her throat before telling me

"That's easy, you just got to wait until you see her without jasper. You already know she works at the cafe and besides doesn't she run almost a daily delivery to Mr smiley when you're at work?"

"that's true but I'm not allowed to talk to people for very long, I'm supposed to keep an eye on things while working"

"then you need to be straight out and open with it, tsume doesn't take anybody seriously unless you are serious."

Amethyst said with a laugh but I could tell that this laugh of hers wasn't so laughable anymore as it just seemed like it was forced

"You won't stand a chance between Jasper and Tsume's heart.... if anything I would stop "

She said in a serious tone as I didn't know why she was saying that but she shook it off and told me good luck while slapping me on the back of my shoulder and then went inside.and I got to say her hit on the shoulder was pretty much a hard hitter. I shrug it off knowing that she's just being amethyst and headed home, once I got home I decided to think of a few things that I really wanted to ask around me, I didn't want to scare her off for anything but the good thing was that I did have work tomorrow
