When I opened my eyes I saw I wasn't where I thought I would be, the dream I had was weird as I turned my head and saw a big orange woman

She had her head down as she was sleeping with a book In hand. Who was this woman, and where are my parents? I looked around the room and saw flowers that covered the room. They were pretty but was this for me, and why was I in the hospital?

"Tsume?"

My name was said as I turn to look at the woman again who just woke looking at me weirdly

"Your awake finally, you're ok?"

She said taking my hand and crying, I didn't understand what she was crying for and who was she

"Who...are you?"

I asked, my voice felt dry when I spoke. The woman looked at me surprised

"You don't remember me, it's me Jasper"

She said, But the name didn't seem familiar to me. I shook my head not knowing her, she helped me sit up and gave me a cup of water, she talked about us but I just thought she was making it up

"Don't you remember anything?"

The woman Jasper asked

"No, I was walking from work but I think I blacked out or something "

I said trying to remember but didn't get anything. Jasper stood up and told me to wait. She left the room and later came back with a doctor. He did a little examination on me before he looked to Jasper and said

"She has amnesia, whatever happened to her hit her pretty hard in the head "

"Is there a way to fix that?"

"Yes and no, sometimes amnesia is easily restored by things that is familiar to her or sometimes it is permanent, she seems healthy enough to go home but I want to keep her another night just in case"

The doctor said before he left the room, jasper turned to me looking hurt as she sat in the chair taking my hand again.

"Don't worry, I'll help you remember anything you need"

I felt sorry for Jasper as she was trying her hardest to help me remember anything, but everything that she said that we did together and that we were together it just seems like it was all a lie, nothing she said ever clicked and having her around me all the time sort of felt like it was normal. But the next day when the doctor said it was alright for me to go home Jasper took it upon himself to take me home, I thought she was going to be driving a car or something but instead she just carried me.

When we got home she took me to my room and tucked me in, I looked around my room which was a shade of purple and lavender my two favorite colors

"Do you remember anything in your room?"

"Yes, everything in my room seems to be the same"

"Good"

She said with a sigh then picked up a teddy bear that was the same color as she was

"Do you remember this bear, it was the bear that I won you at Funland because you wouldn't stop bugging me about it"

She said with a chuckle but I didn't seem to remember it but the gemstone that was around the bear's neck on it's bow seemed familiar but it just didn't jog any memories

"I'm sorry but I don't know"

"You named the bear topaz...remember?"

"Topaz is My favorite gem, compared to amethyst..."
