The day of the fishing

Sam woke up to a cheerful call of his daughter doing some kind of thing?

Hm, he should check it out to be on the safe side and what he saw made him stop in his tracks

Jones - his youngest - red hair - emerald green eyes - freckles looked so much like him right there and then

"Dad?" She asked

"Sorry" he replied as he brushed her hair and did it two plats and did them in Dutch plats

He knew how to do braids and plats now thanks to penny teaching him

She then grabbed her jacket and put it on and said "hey dad"

"Yes Jones?" He asked me as he cooked me an omelette

"Charlie's coming to pick me up is that okay?" I ask

He nodded and said "leave phone here but take the walkie talkie"

I nodded and put my phone in my bedroom and locked it up and slid down the hand rail much to my dads dismay and then I saw Charlie and said "Hola uncle"

"Hola?" He asked

Sam shrugged as my omelette was passed and I ate it and said "hola means hello in Spanish uncle" after I finished it and I did my laces up while hoping and then I put the walkie talkie in my pocket and went loo

I then walk downstairs and hugged my dad and said "Uncle Charlie will look after me dad I promise"

"What time should you be back Charlie?" Sam asked

"Before sunset" Charlie says "Bronwyn will call you if Jones wants to come back sooner"

"Oi" I say and at that both men laugh

Yes Jones might be a mini Sam but unlike Sam she was a lover of the water and loved to fish just like her uncle did

Charlie then took my hand and we headed off and dad watched us off and I don't blame him

Once we're out of sight dad has a nap after he locks up

Charlie takes me to the cafe where we both go loo and are passed lunches by Bronwyn before we headed onto the boat and she watched us off and Charlie assured her they would be safe and I showed her the fire extinguisher I had took on board

When Charlie asked me "why?" As we moved I replied with "Remember the two times your boat was on fire?"

"Petrol cause your grandad made me jump" Charlie said

"And?" I prompt

"The time Crumpton and proffer Poliumn did it on perpus" Charlie said

"Glad there locked away" I say

"Me to" Chair said

And soon we hit the sea
