Lost at sea

Briefing

The rest of the firefighters were there when penny and Sam (who was carrying a tired jones) straddled in

Twenty mins earlier

Penny and Sam along with Jones was still very much asleep

They were both hugging her and it was 9:30am

The time they should've been meeting up for

At 9:35am Sam missed a call, 9:45am penny missed a call

9:50am Jones phone rang and Sam woke up and called Steele back on his own phone

Sam then woke up penny and left jones who was kicking and screaming in her "sleep"

"She's awake Sam" penny said with a yawn

Once both penny and Sam were in there uniforms, penny quickly cooked them something and Sam put slippers on Jones's feet and he picked her up and told her to sleep

They all ate and Jones ate some of her dads and then they legged it to the station once Sam locked the door

Briefing:

Jones was curled up in the corner asleep as Steele started to talk about the "emergency or rescue"

Steele missed out Sam's panic attack and Sam was grateful for that and when Steele was looking at his board Sam took a sneaky glance at his daughter who was asleep still

Steele got to the bit where Jones was rescued and Sam retold what he did and he saw penny sneak a glance at Jones as he spoke

Steele nodded and the rescue of Charlie was hard to explain as everyone's eyes went to me and against my will I had to be awoke and I faced Steele (my grandad) with a glare that could start a fire if could

Steele asked me and i retold as I tried not to fall asleep standing where I was and when I finished I did excatly that and penny quickly caught me before my head hit the ground and Steele dismissed them all after saying what Helen had said

After:

Sam picked up his sleeping daughter from penny and sat in his office and penny joined them before she said "the sleeping quaters have a bed"

Sam nodded in agreement

The rest of the crew including Boyce watched Sam, penny and Jones go to the sleeping quaters

Steele and Boyce followed and once there they saw them all fast asleep and only Jones's and Sam's hair visible

"You called a briefing when Sam and penny and even Jones are in this state?" Boyce asked

"I didn't realise that they were shattered" Steele whispered harshly as they left them to sleep

Boyce sighed and said that's why they all invited your calls cause they were asleep

They didn't wake up to the following day and even then jones slept on for a few more days

Penny slept a whole day

Sam: two days

Jones: least a week
