Nari's POV

" Saena! Nari! " I turned around to see Mark running towards us with Lucas walking behind him with his hands in his pockets.

I bit my lips and was ready to walk off when Saena grabbed onto my arm. " What's wrong with you? " I pursed my lips when they walked to us.

" We have lunch coupons. Do you want to go with us? " Mark asked.

Saena eyed me, " Sure! " Yido said, causing Saena and I to glare at him. Obviously, Yido have no idea what he is doing.

" Here's one for you, you and you. " Mark took the coupon and handed it over to us individually.

I took the chance to peep at Lucas who was literally just staring at his phone now. " Why do you seem so down today? You're such a party pooper. " Mark nudged him.

Lucas looked over at me and our eyes met. I quickly divert my attention away, " I'll just skip this. " He handed his coupon back to Mark and walked off before he could even react.

Mark furrowed his brows, " Sorry, I don't know what's wrong with him today. I'll see you guys later at the entrance! " He said before running off.

" Lucas seem off. " Yido said and Saena nodded.

None of them know what happened between us and I don't think they will even know the reason.

When we went back to class, " Oh I forgot to buy something. Sung Yido, get it for me will you? " Saena asked and he sighed before leaving the classroom.

Saena eyed me, " What happened between you and Lucas again? " I furrowed my brows, trying to make it seem like nothing happened.

" Do you think I'm dumb? You were staring at him and he stared back at you. " She said and I let out a sigh as I hugged my bag pack as I placed my chin on top.

" He told me how he feels yesterday. " I said and Saena started squealing.

Mind you.

Saena doesn't squeal.

She smiled, " And what did you say? "

" I told him I don't feel the same way and that he should keep his distance. " I said and she let out a sigh as she shook her head.

" Hey, love can't be forced. " I said.

Saena knocked my head with her fist, " Tell me how do you feel around Lucas. " I thought for a moment as I tried to remember how I felt when I'm with him.

" He makes me feel comfortable. He's someone that I can confide in when I have problems, he's basically my guy best friend. " I said.

" What will you do if he have a girlfriend? " I thought for a bit, how I would feel if Lucas have a girlfriend.

A smile spread across my face, " I will be so happy for him but kinda bad for his girlfriend. I mean, her boyfriend is Lucas. "

Saena shook her head in disappointment. " Do you really not have any feelings for Lucas? " I nodded and that's when she changed subject.

" Thanks. " Yido came back with Saena's thing as he slammed it on her desk while glaring at her.

After our class ended, we went over to the entrance of the school. " I don't want to go! " We looked towards the direction of the voice.

Mark was dragging Lucas along as Lucas tried resisting. " Wong Yukhei is not functioning normally today. " Mark said.

Lucas scoffed.
