Nari's POV

I peeped my head out of my classroom as I looked to the right, left, right and left. " What the hell are you doing? " Saena asked from the back and I shushed her.

" Okay, we can leave now. " I said.

" Choose what you want. " Saena handed her phone over to me because we have this friendship thing whereby we gift each other gifts on Valentine's day.

Just as I was scrolling through, someone called and the contact name is,

Boyfriend <3

My eyes widened and I quickly answered the call.

" Han Saena, where did the both of you go to? " My jaw dropped as I turned to Saena who seemed surprised that I'm on a call.

She snatched her phone from me and her eyes widened when she saw the contact name. " Lee Nari, I can explain. " I was in deep shock.

She made Yido come over and we stood outside of the classroom. " We were going to tell you but we didn't want to die. " She said.

I remained quiet. " Yeah. We were predicting your reaction so we chose to keep quiet for the time being. I didn't expect you to find out so quickly. " Yido said.

Lots of thoughts went through my head before I looked up at them. " Sung Yido, you better treat Saena well or else i'm going to take her away. " I said.

He scoffed, " Hey! I'm your best friend too! "

Saena cling onto my arm, " Shut up, I've been a better friend than you! " Yido glared at the both of us and we began laughing on the way out.

We were walking to the entrance when I saw two familiar figures standing by the gates. My eyes widened as I pulled Saena and Yido away from the entrance.

Yido furrowed his brows, " Lee Nari, what kind of shit show are you doing now? "

I let out a sigh, " Yesterday I might have accidentally said some things that are not meant to be said out. " I looked up at them.

" Yes, to Lucas. " I replied and they nodded.

Saena shrugged, " Why are you scared? I mean, Lucas likes you and you lik- " I covered her mouth with my hands and she pulled my hands away.

" Lee Nari, you're being too paranoid. " She said.

I groaned, " I don't know. It just feels weird and awkward whenever I see his face. I just kept thinking about what happened last night. " I said.

Yido took his sweater out of his bag, " Thank me later. " He said and I realised his jacket allows you to zip all the way up to the top of your head.

Saena eyed him, " I haven't seen this before. Is this new? " He nodded.

" To hide from you. " Saena smacked his arm and he winced in pain.

I put on the sweater and I zipped it all the way up so now I look like the zombie from Train to Busan. " I don't think Lucas is that dumb to not realised it's you. " Saena said.

" Please guide me well. " I said as I walked in the middle of the both of them.

I stepped over a little step which tells me that I'm at the entrance where Lucas is at. Just as I was about to walk further away from the school, I felt a grip on my wrist and I was dragged away.

My gut feeling tells me that this is not a good sign.

I was dragged on for about 5 minutes before we stopped. I stood there in silence before I pulled the zip down slowly and I peeped out.

My eyes widened when I met eyes with Lucas who's face is literally right before me. I was about to zip it back when he grabbed my hand.

" Why are you avoiding me? " He asked.

I cleared my throat, " I'm not avoiding you. " I said.

He smirked as he stood back up, releasing the grip on my hand. He crossed his arms across his chest as he eyed me, " If you're not avoiding me then why are you wearing this? "

I pursed my lips, " I'm feeling really cold. "

" Lee Nari, I saw you when you were walking out the first time. " He replied and I cursed under my breath.

Lucas sighed as he sat down on the bench right beside us. " If it's all because of what you said last night, don't worry about it. " He said.

I furrowed my brows, " What do you mean? "

" Interpret however you like. " He said without looking at me. I should feel assured but somehow it feels weird.

He raised his brows, " I can just pretend that nothing happened last night. " I bit my lips as I pulled down the zip.

I frowned, " Wong Yukhei, I know this seemed very weird but as much as I want you to forget, you should pretend that I didn't say anything. Do you know how hard it is for me to say it? "

Lucas smirked as he stood up. I walked back slightly when he inched closer to me. " Lee Nari, are you telling me that you wasn't drunk last night? " My eyes widened.

I shook my head, " I was drunk but I wasn't- " I covered my mouth with my hands to shut myself up before I said anything else.

His expression softened, " If you're not ready to date, I'm okay with it. I don't want to seem like a loan shark, following you around and stirring fear in you. If it's better for you, I can even put my feelings aside for a bit. "

He looked over at me with a smile, " So what do you say? Are we good now? " I nodded slightly.

It's tiring even for me to run around the place and being all careful about his whereabouts. " So we're back to the oh-so-feminine Nari and Lucas? " I nudged his waist using my elbow, causing him to groan.

We ended up walking back to school but our three friends aren't there anymore. " I guess we got dumped by them. " I said.

" I think we were the one that dumped them first. " He said as he laughed.

Lucas and I walked over to the bus stop when a typical K drama scene happened to me. A bicycle was going towards our direction when Lucas dragged me to the other side.

I bit my lips as I looked away.

Thank god my bus came in time and I quickly got on. I waved to Lucas slightly with a forced smile before walking to the last seat.

Just as the bus was about to leave, I turned around to take a last peek at Lucas.

My heart started pounding loudly against my chest as I placed my hand over my heart.

How long have I been keeping my feelings for him a secret?

I'm probably going to end this book in the next chapter because it's getting a little boring in my opinion but it was so fun writing about Lucas again T^T

I'm also going to publish a Winwin story right after this story end!! I'm only really excited because Winwin is the first guy that caught my attention when NCT first released their trailer!!
