Lucas's POV

" Are you going or not? " I shook my head.

Mark sighed as he crossed his arms and I eyed his arms before glaring at him. " Are you teasing me? I can't cross my arms. " He chuckled slightly.

I let out a sigh, " You know what happened between me and hospitals. We just don't match and you can't force a mismatch pair or match. "

" But you really need to get your arm check. " I shook my head as I slowly lifted my arm, holding in my breath and trying not to show any sign of pain.

I pursed my lips, " Look, it's working just fine. " I said and Mark scoffed.

Mark let out a long, deep sigh as he turned to look over at me. " Look, you said Nari is different from other girls so why are you sending this different girl away? "

" She's different but not a good kind of different. " I said as I shoved a piece of pain killer into my mouth without letting Mark know.

I took my bottle out of my mouth and Mark snatched it away from me. " Give it back! " I mumbled and it was at that moment, my tongue touched the tablet and instantly my facial features contracted.

I started gagging, " Here. " He passed it back to me and I gulped the tablet down, as I chugged lots of water down my throat.

" That's vitamin. " I said after I'm done.

Mark scoffed, " Vitamin to reduce pain? Wong Yukhei, as much as you want to avoid the hospital you can't. "

" In the future if you have a wife, and she going to give birth she will have to go to the hospital. " I shook my head.

" Did you know you can give birth at home with just a water bath? I can get her a private doctor to bring the baby out. " Mark's face darkened.

He sighed, " I didn't want to do this. "

" Yukhei! Wong Yukhei! " I heard a familiar voice and I glared over at Mark.

" Look, I really didn't want to do this but you made me do this. " He shrugged and I let out a sigh, trying to gather my thoughts before she comes.

She walked over with her walking stick and stopped before me. " Let Granny Wang take a look at your arm. " She touched my arm slightly and I winced in pain.

Granny Wang glared at me, " Don't you know how serious it can be if your torn ligaments are not treated properly? what if it didn't heal well? " She started lecturing me.

I glared at Mark and she smacked my other arm, " I am talking to you! Stop glaring at your friend! " I bit my lips as I stared at me.

" Why did you bite your lips? Do you want me to put chilli on it? " She sneered.

I nod, " Some Gochujang please. " She smacked me again and I puffed up my cheeks while frowning.

" I know why you're this scared of the hospital but your arm isn't in good condition. What if you can't play the basketball anymore? At the very least, let's go to the clinic. " She said.

I shook my head but she insist. " I'm giving you 3 seconds. It's either you leave with me now to go to a clinic or else you're kicked out of the house. "

Mark pushed me forward and Granny Wang pulled me all the way to the clinic. I walked in reluctantly because I know small clinics like these would always refer me to the hospital.

We waited for my turn to see the doctor and when I finally entered, he took a look at my arm and he said, " Our clinic is too small so you will have to go to the nearby hospital. " My jaw literally dropped even though I already see it coming.

" Is there other ways other than going to the hospital? " Mark asked and he shook his head.

When we walked out of the room I looked over at the both of them. " I tried so I'm not going to go to the hospital. " I said and they sighed.

" 500,000 won. " Mark said and I shook my head.

Granny Wang eyed me, " I'll get you a girlfriend if you go. " I shook my head.

" If only drugging someone isn't illegal, I would've drugged you. " Granny Wang said and Mark chuckled.

" I'll offer you anything if you just go to the hospital with us. " Granny Wang said and I bit my lips as I looked over at her.

I scrunched my nose, " Please stay alive and see my kids grow up. " Granny Wang smiled as she gently pat my head before smacked my head real hard.

" You don't even dare to go to the hospital how are you going to have kids? " She raised her voice causing people around us to look over.

Her expression softened, " But Granny Wang will try my best to stay alive until then and make sure your children are all chubby unlike you, so hard. " She punched my stomach as she shook her head.

" Granny, don't you know this is what many girls want in a guy? it's called abs. Repeat after me, abs. " I said and she ignored me.

She pat Mark's stomach, " This is what a happy child's stomach should feel like. " She smiled brightly at Mark and he smiled back.

" I wonder who's grandmother are you. " I said and they chuckled.

They dragged me to the hospital. I can feel my heart pounding against my chest really aggressively, and my palms began sweating profusely. " I can't do this! " I was about to leave but they grabbed my hand.

Flashbacks of what happened flashed in my head and suddenly, I blacked out.

Yes, i'm not kidding.

I blacked out.

When I finally woke up, my arm is wrapped in a cast and my head hurts. " What the- " Granny Wang helped me up and I sat up.

I looked around and the same reaction occured again but it's worse because I'm literally sitting on the thing that I hate the most, hospital bed.

I jumped off of the bed, " Get me out of here. " I said as I looked over at the both of them who looked so helpless.

" Calm down. " I yanked Mark's hand away.

" I'm getting out of here! " I raised my voice as they tried to pull me back. Tears started rolling down my cheeks as I struggled to get out of their grip.

Don't think about it.

Don't.

It's too late.
