Nari's POV

" My hea- " I opened my eyes to see Taeyong glaring down at me with a stern look on his face.

I blinked a few times before sitting up. " Lee Nari! You know our family alcohol tolerant sucks and you still went out drinking? With a guy? " I furrowed my brows.

" Since when did I drink with a gu- " Suddenly flashbacks of whatever happened yesterday night flashed in my head including the part where Lucas came.

My cheeks started flushing, " I-Is his eyes huge like stones and his mouth small like a cherry? " Taeyong was judging me but he nod anyways.

" He said his name is- " I cut him off.

" Lucas? " I said hesitantly and he nodded.

Gone are the days where I can see him without feeling awkward or embarrassed.

I groaned as I hid my face in my pillow. " That's it. I'm going to change school and move out of this country. "

Taeyong scoffed, " Please move out of this planet. "

" What kind of brother are you? " I furrowed my brows and he smiled.

" A brother who warns you before you get a beating from mom and dad. " He grinned before walking out of the room and it hits me.

My mom and dad.

I rushed out of the room while feeling dizzy and I saw my parents sitting on the couch. " Mom, dad. " I said and they glared at me.

" You reek of alcohol. " My mom said as she eyed me.

I pursed my lips as I walked over to them, " I'm so sorry. This is the first and last time. I promise. " I said and they continued ignoring me.

Taeyong dragged me over, " Wash up first. You stink. " I nodded and I went to wash up before coming out smelling like fresh strawberries.

" I wonder why are the dishes- " I cut my mom off.

I smiled, " I'll wash the dishes. " I quickly rushed over and washed all the dishes before putting them on the rack.

I looked over at the clock and my eyes widened, " I got to go to school now. " I said as I took my bag before rushing out of the house after bidding my parents and Taeyong goodbye.

When I got to school, I prayed that I wouldn't meet Lucas. " Nari! " I turned around to see Saena, Yido, Mark and Lucas.

My smile faded as I started running towards my classroom without looking back as if I'm in The Purge.

The door opened, " Lee Nari, what was that? " Yido laughed as he walked over to his seat.

" Why was Lucas there yesterday? " I asked the both of them. Yido seemed confused but Saena was smiling.

" I needed a helping hand. " She said as she shrugged.

I laid my head on the desk.

" I'm doomed. "

Lucas's POV

I peeped into their classroom and I saw Nari laying her head on her table and I sneaked a laugh. That's when I felt a smack on the back of my head, " Mark you b- " I looked up to see a man, but that's not Mark.

My jaw dropped when I saw Mark mouthing to me.

' That's their teacher. '

I gasped as I apologised. " Who are you looking for? " He asked me while eyeing me as if I'm someone that's going to hurt his students.

I gulped as I shook my head. " No one, sir. "

He sneaked a laugh, " You don't have to call me sir. You can leave now but stop stalking my students. " I was about to retort him when he walked into class.

Mark burst into laughter as he walked over to me, giving me a sympathetic pat of my shoulder. " I guess now you're seen as a stalker. " I sneered and he laughed.

We walked back to our classroom when Mark nudged me on the arm. " How's you and Bora going? " I pursed my lips.

" Nah. I told her the truth so we are nothing. " I said and Mark nodded. He placed his arm around my shoulders as he grinned.

" So it's Nari again? " I nodded and he punched my stomach as he ran off. My eyes widened and I ran after him.

When we got to class, we went to our usual seating. Mark nudged me, " Valentine's day is coming. Are you gonna do something for Nari? I'm thinking of confessing to Saena. " My smile faded as I looked over at him.

" I don't know if she'll accept. She seems kinda distanced. " I pursed my lips.

Well, here's the tough part.

If you guys were me, will you tell Mark the truth?

He's my best friend, my brother but telling him will only hurt him. Maybe it's better for Saena to tell him herself.

I let out a sigh, " What were you planning to do for Saena? " I asked and he shrugged.

" Probably just your usual valentine's day things. a bear, probably a heart shaped balloon and a confession letter. " I nod.

He nudged me, " What about you? "

" I don't know. I'll think about it later. " I said and he nodded. Just then our favourite teacher came in with a smile and a suit.

I cheered, " Mr Koo! What's up with you and the suit? Are you going on a date night? " The class cheered with me causing him to blush.

He settled us down, " Well, " He pursed his lips as he looked down at his feet before looking up, " You're not wrong. "

We cheered even louder causing him to laugh. " Mr Koo! Yukha needs some love advice for Valentine's Day! " Mark screamed.

The class turned to face me, " You have a girlfriend? " Mr Koo asked and I shook my head.

" Just a crush. " I replied and he grinned.

" I didn't know this class would become a love advice class but shh let's not tell anyone else about it or I'd be fired. " Mr Koo chuckled, causing us to laugh.

He smiled, " So what do you want to know? "

" I just want to say that I'm not an expert. My girlfriend is the one making the move most of the time so I'll just say from experience. " He said.

" I don't know if she will accept me. " I said and his smile faded. He cleared his throat and he lets out a long sigh.

Mr Koo smiled, " Do you think you're a great man? I think you're an awesome man, a man that many girls would want to date. " I smiled.

" Best case scenario, she'd accept you but the worst case is she wouldn't. Then again, we have to learn how to deal with rejection. Does being rejected means you're not good enough? No! It just means that it's not the time yet and the right one is on her way. " He walked back and forth.

He looked at me, " Don't ponder too much about 'Will she accept me?' or 'What if she doesn't accept me?'. You're an amazing guy, be confident about it. If she doesn't accept you then it's her loss. It's hard to move on, yes but it's a stage in your life. "

" You can always email me whenever you're upset because our age difference isn't that great. I can be your older brother who teaches you Korean. " He winked.

Someone screamed from the back of the class, " But Mr Koo! You take a week to reply our email! " The class burst into laughter and he chuckled awkwardly.

" Sorry, my bad. I will take note of it! Just type in 'Important email' and I will see it asap. " He said while grinning.

He looked over at me one last time, " So we're all good? Just go for it so you won't ever look back and regret not taking any chances you had. "

I nod.

I took my phone out.
