Mizuki Sayeko had never been fond of the whole 'soulmates' concept, not when her past warned her of the side-effects of falling too deep into the lucid, hypnotising trap. With piercing gazes, a stone-cold heart, would her soulmates ever get through...

WITH THE BIRTH of their final child, beautiful, pristine Megumi Kozume-Sayeko, the soulmate penta and their little, well, large family settled in comfortably with their new routine. The sleeping arrangements in the house shifted. The twins, who had bunked together for the majority of their life, now had their separate rooms, thanks to Mizuki getting a designer to add extra space. Haruto and Hiroto's bedrooms were connected with a door just for the two of them. It gave them closeness and distance at the same time. Mizuki and her husbands agreed that the boys needed to be slowly separated from each other so they could grow into their individual personalities, rather than relying on one another and being entirely identical.
The west wing of the second floor was for the kids. It was Bokuto's ideas to keep them closer together so if anything happened, they'd be the first ones to each other. On the east wing was their master bedroom. There was also an extra room for when one of the parents decided to have alone time or when one came home late from work and didn't want to disturb the others. There had been multiple cases of Kuroo or Akaashi passing out on the couch after work. Least to say, Mizuki and Kenma had quite a few videos of them snoring the following day.
The first floor was made up of their large white and light brown themed kitchen, predominantly marble and wood, seeing as Mizuki had grown rather fascinated by the combination. The kitchen island was stationed in the middle, housing their sink for both cleaning water and fresh drinking water. With the latest technology, the family were able to change the temperature of the drinking water. In front of the counter was their breakfast table made out of a light-coloured wood. There were ten members in their family, hence, ten chairs. All in all, their kitchen was massive and high tech, simplified because Kenma needed that. Mizuki had become a stay-at-home mother on her own accord. She worked, but she wanted to take care of her children — that included her big baby Kenma and Koutarou. Occasionally, she would go to meetings and leave the kids in her soulmates' care, but that was seldom. Mizuki enjoyed staying at home and working remotely. It gave her time to bond with everyone.
Walk further along the kitchen and you'd reach the living room where they installed a large tv to entertain the kids with the latest gaming set up. Of course, the latest set up. Kenma's a streamer. Do you think he'd let his kids play anything but the best? No.
Their house was an open concept, so whoever was in the living room could see whoever was in the kitchen. It was suitable for the parents. They could keep an eye on their kids most of the time.
They had a grand piano beside the large window overlooking their back garden. The piano was sleek black, taken from Mizuki's childhood home. It was a gift from her mother. She'd never desert it. The backyard was half garden and half pond, large trees watching over them, and tiny colourful fishes swimming around their home. Koji and Yuuki had won them at the carnival, Megumi, too, but that was because of Kenma. They kept the fishes in the pond and made sure the cats never ate them.
