Tom has been working closely with Unicef since his last day off. They were in the progress of creating a new advert, campaign, and discussing about sending Tom and another ambassador to South Sudan. Of course, they would be escorted by the organisers and their team. Tom was on board as soon as they started the discussion, as he has already made this kind of trip once before. So he was more than willing to make the trip again. Although, this was just the discussion period, they wouldn't be sent until June at the latest. Due to various pop ups, such as getting the team together, the equipment, and the other ambassador will still be in Egypt, until May 20th. She's working on a non Unicef project of her own. Which Tom learnt a little about her trip to Egypt as well. Then he started to think about all the questions he wanted to ask her, about her achievements outside of Unicef, and the life style she leads. Also, about her dedication to those who are in need. He even found out her name is Susan Kobayashi. He'd never heard about her before, considering how long he'd been an ambassador for, so he gathered she must be a newer addition.

Once Tom was done after a long day he slipped into the back seat of the black USV, that was parked just outside. As always during business matters Conrad was driving Tom around. Or the rare occasions Tom would take the tube. Although, Conrad had time off for a while, due to his wife passing away suddenly. But Conrad returned remaining the same, with his ever so presently "Sirs" and "remind me again Sir, to all you Tom instead." Yet, Tom could see deep into Conrad's eyes that there was still great sadness there, despite his outward well put together demeanour. Tom had also attended the funeral. He felt he should after having known Conrad and his wife for serval years.

Tom sat quietly as he was Googling Susan Kobayashi on his phone. He ended up reading up as much as he could on her, as he felt like with anyone, it is best to know who you're going to be working with. Her reputation was impressive, her achievements were outstanding, and she clearly worked hard. Despite coming from a wealthy family. As Tom was scrolling through images of her, Conrad coughed to get his attention.

"You're being awfully quiet back there, Sir. Is everything alright?" Conrad glanced back a little, once they stopped at a light.

"Yes, thank you, Conrad. And it's T-"

"Tom. I know, Sir." Conrad cut Tom off and they both chuckled. "Are you sure though, S-Tom?" He urged Tom on with his concern.

"Perfectly." Tom smiled, just before the lights turned green, and Conrad drove on.

As soon as Conrad stopped in front of Tom's it had already gone 5:35pm. And, as always Conrad opened the door to let Tom out. The men shook hands and went their separate ways soon after.

As if on cue Bobby raced towards Tom to greet him coming in. Tom ruffled Bobby's hair on his head and knelt down stroking his back, once he kicked the door closed behind him. They were both happy to be together again, especially after a long day. One of Tom's neighbours though had dropped by twice earlier in the day, as they do from time to time check in on Bobby. If no one else was available to dog sit. Basically Bobby wasn't alone the entire day.

After a few minutes Tom rose up to his full hight and let Bobby out back. As he closed the back door his phone pinged in his suit jacket. He pulled it out straight away and realised who it was from, one of his latest sexual affaires, of entanglement. They were asking him to come over. He sighed heavily, debating whether to go or stay home.

"Be there in half an hour." Tom quickly typed out, and hovered his thumb over the send button, for a long moment. But he pressed it anyway.

In the end he thought that, he might as well accept the fact he started playing this game, and he should play it out until the end. No matter the outcome.
