For a day in March the weather wasn't a total misery, which meant no one was going to get rained on, on their way in whilst they were all dressed in their best formal wear. Even though the air was quite chilly out. Nonetheless if there was any signs of rain it wouldn't put anything on hold anyway, because Peyton wouldn't have allowed it, especially not on his and Samuel's wedding day.
Peyton stood in front of the full length mirror while he looked at his own reflection, and he was making sure every inch of his white Gucci suit looked perfect for the big day. It had to be just as perfect as they had planned the entire wedding along with Margot's help. Despite Samuel being the one to pop the question, Peyton clearly still wore the trousers in the relationship for the most part (except at work still). As Peyton straightens out his black bowtie (the proper one you have to tie yourself and not that readymade clip crap), there's a soft knock at the door. He leaves his spot after one more quick glance over his appearance, before he opens the door to find Margot standing there and smiling up at him. He notices tears forming in her eyes instantly from taking one look over his appearance.
"Don't you dare! If you cry now then I'll be a mess before I say I do." Peyton chuckled before taking her into a tight embrace.
"I'm sorry, P, you look so handsome in your suit and you've been my best friend forever." Margot replied with a shaky voice, as she held him back just as tight, and she tried her best to hold back her tears. Not wanting her makeup to look a complete and utter mess, also, she didn't want to make Peyton cry either.
"I know I am just about to be a married man, but it won't change anything." He says softly, as they pull apart enough to see each other's face.
"I know." She speaks just as softly before they both smile at each other.
"It's time!" Elouise squealed, as she practically skipped down the corridor towards them and ended their conversation.
Peyton kissed Margot's forehead before taking her hand and then they walked on behind Elouise. They walked until they stood outside of the large double wooden doors where just beyond is where the ceremony is going to take place. Elouise slipped inside first and took her seat quickly. As Elouise went in Margot removed her hand from Peyton's, and then she wrapped her arm around his instead. They smiled again at each other as the doors opened up and she walked beside her best friend down the aisle.
The ceremony was beautiful and heartwarming, more than what either Peyton or Samuel could have asked for. Everyone could see the happiness radiating off of the happy couple, and if anyone looked close enough they could see the twinkle in their eyes, as well as the loving hand holding throughout the day. Needless to say Peyton and Samuel had come a long way to get where they are now, but they knew they're at their most happiest together.
The after party was beyond lively and many enthusiastic dancers filled the dance floor. The room itself was filled with such high spirits and music blaring out of the speakers. Plus, Peyton and Samuel's first dance was very romantic, but towards the end it escalated into madness as their guests joined them on the dance floor. The first few of the frantic dancers started showing off their moves, and an eruption of laughter filled the air, but still not enough to overpower the blaring music. Which caused drinks to flow more frequently than they had at the start of the celebrations. Later on Margot did get to dance with both Peyton and Samuel separately and together with their friends. Although Peyton could still see that Margot was missing something from her life. Despite the friendships that have formed between her and the others over the years, as well as the fact her career in the performing arts industry could very well take off too. Besides all that Peyton had his suspicions of what that might be, what might be missing. However, he knew this wasn't the right time to be discussing such things. Even though he would have made the time even on his wedding day, he knew Margot wouldn't want that. Besides his better judgment he had an inkling that she would talk about it on her own time. Somewhere down the road, when she feels comfortable enough.
