Tom pulled over after driving around for a while. The entire journey he had debated with himself, debating if he should be where he is now or not, in the end though he knew he was making the right decision. After all he has been avoiding everything and everyone entirely, until he started recently remedying things slowly. This decision was no exception, he knew it had to be remedied. Well, Tom could only hope he could fix things. Especially after leaving things all up in the air much longer than the rest of the things he's now fixed between other people. While he was building up his strength to physically get out of his jag, Bobby was pacing up and down the back seat. He knew where they were and clearly was eager to get out. Once Tom was ready he got out gracefully and then grabbed Bobby's lead, allowing his fury companion to jump out. Then Tom locked his car before heading down the street while taking a few shaky breaths.

As they reached their destination Tom paused at the door and shook off the hesitation before knocking on the door. He waited there a while but no reply came. So he knocked again expect louder this time to make sure he was heard. Still no reply though. Tom eventually gave up with a heavy sigh. As he began to lead Bobby away and head back to his car he only managed a few steps as he came to a sudden stop. Just a few steps ahead was the one person he wanted to see come into view. Margot. She paused as he had done, their eyes laid upon one another, and she seemed to stay planted to the spot. In the end Tom decided to make his way towards her to make it easier on her, even though he felt hesitant at first, but the more steps he took the more confident they became.

"Hi, Mags." Tom said with a half smile, as he stopped before her with still a bit of distance between them. Bobby shuffled slightly side to side with excitement with his tail wagging madly. No doubt if they stood closer and if he was allowed he would have jumped up at Margot to say hello properly.

Margot's jaw slackened and her breath was caught in her throat for a moment, before she could even answer him. "Hi, Tom." Her words came out rather shaky, more than she expected them to, but she quickly cleared her throat then began to head towards her student accommodation.

"I ran into Charlie a couple of days ago." Tom said, as he turned around to walk beside Margot and Bobby was plodding along too.

"Oh?" Was all Margot could say, while keeping her eyes down as they walked. She felt awkward around him. Who could blame her? They haven't spoken in quite some time.

Besides, she has been suppressing her feelings for him for several months now too, so far down that she started to feel like she was in a comfortable place. It especially came easier for her when she stopped watching anything with him in films, series and interviews. The lack of content watching was better than sitting there watching it all over and over again on a loop. Even the dreaded thought if Tom knew how sad she was he wouldn't want to talk to her. He'd want to distance himself from her as much as possible. Again. That's what she thought anyway.

"Not much...he said Samantha Thomas and himself are dating now. And..." Tom trailed off as they came to a stop on her doorstep. Margot slowly brought her eyes up to finally make eye contact properly. "And...ugh, maybe we shouldn't talk out here. Can I come in?" He asked with puppy dog eyes.

Margot couldn't help but smile at him. No matter how much time had passed she couldn't resist that look of his, besides she wanted to hear him out. So without so much as another word Margot unlocked the front door and the pair of them with Bobby headed inside. Once the door was closed behind them Tom took Bobby's lead off and Bobby was jumping up at Margot for attention. Of course Margot missed him greatly and said hello while patting and stroking the adorable fluff ball. After a couple of minutes she led Tom into the living room/kitchen, Bobby ended up running ahead of them and settling down on the arm chair. Tom stood in the doorway a moment to observe the surroundings. There were some boxes and things not in the places they once were. Of course he knew none of them would be living here forever as it's only for students, although it still seemed strange to him all the same.
