"Brooklyn!" Colton walked up to my table and plopped down in the chair across from me.

"Yeah, and you're Colton. . . ?" Colton laughed. I sighed, he was too hot for me. Okay, you're probably wondering what just happened. Well, here's my life update. It's been 1 month since Taylor and I "broke up", 2 weeks since Taylor stopped texting me sorry, 11 days since my friends stopped trying to console me about our "break up", 9 days since I became officially over Taylor and decided to start dating again, i week since I had been set up on a "blind" date by Camilla, 15 minutes since I got to the café, and 6 days since my first date with Colton (this was our third date). Okay, now back to Colton. He was smiling, his gray eyes crinkling slightly at the corners. His golden blonde hair matching his snow white skin. There was a small curve to his lips, as if there were something only he knew the answer to.

Then I realized he hadn't ordered, but he was watching me watch him. "Oh, I'm so sorry. Just order please." I giggled and Colton waved a waitress over. I sipped my cocoa and watched him. I watched him smile at the waitress, making her day probably. I watched him call he by name and thank her sincerely. When he turns back to me, that contagious energy made me smile. I don't know what it was, he just had this way of making everyone feel special.

"So-" I was interrupted by three girls rushing up to our table, their eyes filled with awe. Colton's smile fell from his face.

One of them turned to me. "Aren't you the girl who broke Taylor Caniff's heart?" I nodded meekly.

"Well, you shouldn't have done that. You biatch!" The blonde one said. They all turned around and sauntered out if the café.

"Taylor Caniff, I don't believe I heard this story?" Colton asked, his smile returning.

"It's kind of long." I blushed, and covered my face with my hands.

"I'm all ears." Colton said, sweeping the hair out of his face.

"Okay, um it was four days until me and my sister's birthday. . ." I dove in, telling him detail after detail. He asked me about my sister and I asked him about his. Colton was charming and funny. He was, just. . .gah! Why couldn't all guys be Colton?

"Oh my god, it's 4:30 already! I have to go, my aunt's in town and I have to babysit." I frowned, stepping away form the table. I walked slowly towards the door, hoping Colton would follow.

"I had a really great time, Brooklyn." Colton held the door open for me and I slid to my car, slipping my coat over my shoulders.

"Me too,"

"Same time, Saturday?" I nodded, fiddling with my keys. Colton grinned, and took a step closer. His gaze caught mine and I was rooted to the spot. He leaned in, covering my lips in his. His lips were soft and I could feel the callouses on his fingers from playing guitar. I could still taste the coffee on his lips. I wound my hands into Colton's hair, realizing I had wanted to since the first time I had seen him. He pulled away and I memorized every place where our lips pulled apart.

"Goodbye, Brooklyn." Colton said, slipping away into the darkness. I couldn't believe that those two simple words made me melt.
