Chapter 1

The Mandalorian

I was woken up to the ship rattling slightly and I quickly opened my eyes to see if everything was okay. As I looked out through the window of the ship, I noticed that we were no longer in space, but landed on a planet.

As I was about to try and get up too, I was held back by a strap. "You almost fell while you slept. You're a heavy sleeper." The Mandalorian said as he got up from his seat and went down the ladder.

That was very thoughtful of him and I would thank him for doing so but I was afraid to. I quickly unstrapped myself and followed down the ladder, watching as the ship door opened and he walked out, holding a long weapon in his hand.

"Stay there and don't get off that ship." He said, walking ahead and looking around. I stood at the entrance of the ship, feeling a bit uneasy as he was checking the area with the scope to his eye.

I noticed a creature coming up towards him as he was too distracted by looking through the scope. "Look out!" I said but he was immediately grabbed by the creature with its mouth clamped onto his arm.

He tried punching his way out of its grip as it slammed him into the ground. My body tense at the scene.

As he escapes from the creature, holding down on his arm, it came back for a round two, clamping its mouth down on his other but the creature suddenly fell as an electric shock wave came over it.

The Mandalorian fell along with the creature as another was headed it's way. I quickly ran over, in hopes to stop the thing from hurting the man.

"Hey!" He shouted at me.

The creature fell at my feet, another shockwave coming over the thing. I looked closely to see that the poor creature had been tranquilized.

I looked up to see an Ugnaught on top of one of them, looking over at the Mandalorian. "Thank you." He said as he got his arm out of it's mouth.

"You are a bounty hunter." The Ugnaught said. "Yes."

"I will help you." Before he turned away, he looked at me then back over to him. "Do not leave her alone here. Bring her. I have spoken." He said before turning away on the creature.

The Mandalorian glanced over at me before getting up and following the Ugnaught. "Let's go." Was all he said.

I obeyed and quickly followed closely behind not to be left alone.

I learned to know that the Ugnaught's name was Kuiil. He was awfully kind to us, thankfully. He even offered me some food which I appreciated very much.

I sat quietly to myself as they were having their conversation about his target and how he was going to capture it.

They spoke of how he will need a blurrg, the creatures we saw outside, to ride to the area he needs to get too.

I placed the empty tray down and looked at the little tiny creatures that ran around my feet. I smiled when it ran away when I tried reaching for it.

"I don't know how to ride blurrg." The Mandalorian said.

I looked over at the two of them, he was already looking over at me. I immediately looked elsewhere, hoping he didn't notice but I'm sure as hell he did.
