Redemption

As we make our way down into the sewers, we met up back with Cara and Karga.

Cara quickly walked over to us with a smile on her face as she took Din from the droid to help him walk. "I got you." She said.

I looked at the child that the droid was holding, hearing him coo.

I followed behind Cara and Karga as they helped Din walk to get to our destination. The Mandalorian covert.

"Ugh this place is a maze." Cara groaned.

"Stop, I can stand." Din said as he removed himself out of their grip to support his own weight.

"The bacta infusion is working." The droid commented.

"I'll try to find tracks." Din said as he looked at the ground. "We're close." He pointed and walked on ahead. We all quickly followed behind him closely.

"Turn here."

We turned a corner and walked into a room, stopping to see a pile of Mandalorian armor.

I watched as Din kneeled down infront of the pile, knowing that there was sadness taking over him slightly.

I leaned in, placing a hand on his shoulder as he picked up a helmet.

"We should go." Cara stepped in.

"You go. Take the ship. I can't leave it this way." He said, staring at the helmet.

"Did you know about this? Is this the work of your bounty hunters?" He asked Karga, I could hear the anger in his voice.

"No. When you left the system and took the prize, the fighting ended and the hunters just melted away. You know how it is. They're mercenaries. They're not zealots." Karga responded.

Din got up furiously walking towards Karga. "Did you do this? Did you!?"

"Hey!" I stood between them, facing Din. He looked down at me. "Calm down.." I mumbled.

"It was not his fault. We revealed ourselves." A familiar voice said.

I turned my attention like everyone else to see a Mandalorian walking into the room. She wore animal fur for her cloak and her helmet had horns on the top of it.

"We knew what could happen if we left the covert. The imperials arrived shortly there after. This is what resulted."

"Did any survive?" Din asked.

"I hope so. Some may have escaped off world."

Din turned to look at me before looking to the woman ahead of us. "Come with us." He said.

"No." She simply said. "I will not abandon this place until I have salvaged what remains." She said, walking out of the room with the armor she collected.

Din followed after her and I followed behind with the others.
