The Reckoning
◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇We continue our journey to the town. As I walked behind Cara and Manda, every now and then my mind wonders off to the voice I heard last night. It was Ven. He was calling out to me but how.
I stopped in my track, looking out to my right at the sky.
"Nue?" I looked over to Mando who had stopped walking to look at me. Cara did the same too.
"I have to go." I said quickly.
He walked up to me, reaching out to grab my arm but I stepped back. "What do you mean?" He asked.
"My friend is in trouble.." I said, staring up at him. "Friend? You've never mentioned a friend before-"
"Mando, I need to go.. I can hear him calling out to me, in my head. I can feel where he is-"
"Nue you're both thinking straight. It's been two years since you've been gone. It could be a trap. Why is it only now you can hear them?" He asked.
"I'll be okay.." I whispered as I reached up, placing my hands to his neck gently.
I could hear his faint breathing under his mask as I stood there, staring into his helmet.
As I removed my hands, I stepped away and began to walk the other way, away from the town and away from them.

"Why didn't you stop her?" Cara asked as he walked with Mando and Karga while the two bounty hunters followed behind.
"You heard her.. she needs to do this." The Mandalorian responded.
"What she needed was for you to grab her, wrap your strong arms around her and tell her not to go!" Cara rolled her eyes as Karga nodded in agreement.
Mando stood there quietly in thought about Nue. What if she didn't come back? What if this was all a trap and he's letting her walk into it all on her own.

I slowly came to a stop once the feeling of being called had stopped. I was standing outside of a very large aircraft. I recognized it anywhere.
This ship belonged to me.
As the door of the ship came down, it revealed the one person I longed to see. Ven.
As he stood there on the ramp of the ship, a smile made it to my face.
"Ven, you're finally here. I've waited so long for you to find-"
I stopped in my sentence as a familiar male walked up beside him. Moff Gideon's son.
"I wondered when I'd see that beautiful face of yours again, my dear sister." That familiar voice spoke as she walked out from behind him.
My eyes widened as I see the crown on her head. The crown I was supposed to have to become queen.
"Leanne..?" I stepped back slightly, ready to bolt out of there if something were to happen.
"I know, you didn't expect me to wear it don't you? Well guess what sis, I'm the queen of Nueth and you aren't. Your army is now mines and now that I am married to our allies, my army is theirs." She said, walking towards me.
