Mando and Cara was out in the forest trying to track down the raiders that attacked the village. I stayed behind with the villagers like always.

I was starting to get annoyed everytime he told me to stay like I was some child. I wanted to help too! I wanted to fight along side him atleast.

If he knew I was a princess, he'd probably never train me to begin with. He'd keep me hidden away for my own protection. I was afraid to tell him. Who knows what he'd do? Probably use me for my riches but he didn't seem like he'd do that.

I sighed in frustration as I look at the hilt that rested in my lap. I gripped onto it tightly. "I'm always the one being protected.." I mumbled to myself.

"Nue?"

I looked up quickly to see Mando standing there in front of me. "Everything okay?" I asked.

"Come on, the villagers are gathered to hear about what we've found." He said. I quickly got up and followed him over to Cara and the other villagers.

"Bad news." He started.

"You can't live here anymore." He said. The villagers started mumbling amongst themselves before one asked why they couldn't.

That was quite harsh to throw at them.

"I know this is not the news you wanted to hear, but there are no other options." Cara said.

I'm sure there was something they could do to help them. I was saddened at the sudden thought of having to leave them here to deal with the raiders themselves.

"You took the job." One of the villagers said.

"That was before we knew about the AT-ST." Cara continued and they seemed confused as to what she meant by that.

"The armored walker with two enormous guns that you knew about and didn't tell us." She said.

"Please your highness, do something. Please help us."

My heart skipped a beat upon hearing one of them ask me to help in the way they did.

"Your highness?" I heard Mando whispered as he looked over to Cara before looking at me.

"I-im afraid I do not have the power to help you.. but I'm sure my friends could do something." I turned to look at both Cara and Mando.

"Train them to fight.." I said. "I guess that could be an option." Cara started. Mando was silent, staring at me without saying a word.

Was he in shock? Confused? I was worried about what was going through his head. My secret I kept from him was out and I don't know what he's thinking.

"I will also train as well, to fight along side you to protect this wonderful small village. You have my word."

As Nue walked away from the murmuring villages to head back to her hut, Mando chased after her. When she stepped inside, he grabbed her arm, turning her around. "What the hell was that?" He asked, staring at her intensely.

"I..I-"

"You who could barely get your words out sometimes, just pretty much gave orders like it was nothing and they called you your highness? Just who the hell are you?" He asked.

She pulled her arm out of his grip, glaring at him. "I'm a princess okay? Princess of Nueth. I abandoned my home because I didn't want to get married! Seeing these villagers struggle, reminds me of home. My people needed me and I left them. Just to be free of the horrible decisions my father made. Marriage? How stupid, how selfish could I have been to just leave them over something like that?"
