"You are ready. You must leave. The breach has been open for about twenty minutes now. You have an army behind you. The New York zoo will have plenty of animals to help you if you need assistance." The woodland creatures inform me and I let out a deep sigh. With a swish of my hand my cape dissolves as my wings reveal themselves stretched out to my full potential and my staff in hand.

"Let's go get this sexy son of a bitch. And by bitch I mean Odin. Frigga is a sweetheart." I take off into the sky with my newly trained abilities and mindset ready. I learned many things and tools that could help me in the future with my powers. I also knew the difficulties this would cause but I wasn't alone. While flying over New York I could see the wreckage of the city. Fire, smoke, screaming, chaos. In a wide street I see a blonde headed man with a hammer, a red head with guns, a black dressed stoic man with a bow and arrow, and a blue spangly uniform throwing a shield.

"Rodgers." I whisper delicately. I pause in the moment flapping my wings to keep me afloat and watch them slowly being surrounded by a cluster of men. "Get your shit together Cara. Now, go." I have to urge myself before nose diving through the air. I tuck my wings in and land in the middle of their circle and they stop and stare. The expression on their faces was complete shock.

"CARA! Oh thank god!" Steve shouts to the sky above as if he was actually talking to a god and I stare daggers at the closing in soldiers. They surrounded us from all angles and I knew what I had to do.

"Duck."

My eyes turn a bright gold as they all take cover to the ground. I unleash my power as my body glistens and power hums under my skin. A ring of gold killed all of the remaining Chitauri soldiers around us for a two mile radius. They all brighten before exploding like a ticking bomb before turning into harmless bits of sand falling all around us. The four of them slowly rose looking around at what I had done.

"Carmella. You.. you can fly." Thor stars at my golden wings which I stretch out for him. He takes a moment to examine them running a delicate finger over the horns at the very top. If I did a corkscrew spin into just about anything with my wings cocooning me I could do some severe damage.

"Yes. Being the Goddess of Life has its perks." I grin shyly at them and Thor nods looking unsurprised. It's like he knew I was capable of such things. He always seemed to believe in me more than I could ever believe in myself.

"I expected no less from you." He was about to move closer but he grunts in pain. My eyes travel down his torso and see a bloody stab wound in his stomach. Most likely courtesy of Loki.

"Thor, your injured. Here, let me. Actually all of your injuries. I can give slivers of my life force to each of you for the duration of the battle to increase stamina, strength, speed, and agility. It will only last so long. You must use it wisely." I carefully gather an energy ball between my fingertips and split it between the four of them.

"Ah, so this is what it feels like to be a god." Clint smirks looking down at his healing wounds and scratches. Every scar and blood dissolved as my magic envelops them. I knew this on it's own was a great exertion of power and would only make me weaker. But this was for the good of the world and nothing such as tiredness was going to hold me back.

"It feels like..like I could fall off a cliff and survive." Natasha grins at me and I shrug as she looks at her now also glowing skin. Steve hands me an ear piece and I slip it in quickly and hear a quick buzz of feed from someone else.

"That portal? How are we sealing that up." I looked at Thor and he looked up at it worriedly at the wormhole in the sky. It was like a bunch of angry bees from their nest ready to rain down hell upon us. Not exactly a pretty sight.
