I awoke looking around. I hoped it had been a few hours I was asleep but the stiffness of my body told me it's been a couple of days. I was in bed not of my own and sit up in my own sweatshirt and sweatpants. I slip on a pair of slippers by the door and walk out of my room and head down a hall. The paintings on the walls were decorative and expensive looking as the floor for the hall way was lined with black and white stained marble. When I open another door I find everyone was sitting in a kitchen. I assumed to be Stark's kitchen by the size of it all eating left overs. Thor, Natasha, Clint, Steve, Bruce, and Mr. Stark all look up as I enter. None of them dressed in there uniforms all in comfy clothes.

"Hey, there she is. How do you feel? Like shit? Like you singlehandedly fixed an entire city that was in ruins?" Mr. Stark questions me as I take a seat at the wide table sitting between Banner and Steve.

"Better much better. Thank you for letting me rest. That was a lot of energy I used. If I could have healed everyone who was injured or killed I would have but I can only do some much." I tuck my arms into my chest sadly and look away.

"Hey, you did good, Cara. No one could fix that much damage." Steve pats my shoulder and I nod as he pulls me into a hug. If I could, I would heal everyone in New York even if it killed me. But Mr. Stark had told me that I shouldn't use that much energy again in case my skills are needed in the future. Granted, I am a goddess but we aren't exactly immortal.

"We've been talking the last couple of days and the world right now isn't happy with us. We got to split up and go our own ways. Thor said you might be interested in going back to Asgard with him and Loki, to be sure Loki pays for his war crimes. But also you know I don't mind your company if you want to stay on earth. It's up to you." He offers me and I take a deep long breath trying to take it all in.

"Take as long as you need. We get rid of Loki tomorrow along with the Tesseract." Clint looks to me and I look at him appreciatively and he gives a slight nod of recognition.

"How's everyone's injuries.? Anything I can help out with?" I look around at the scratches and scar everyone has and there were just a couple of shrugs. I quickly see a long scar under Natasha's eye and I bring her closer by grabbing her face.

"No sense of personal space huh?" Natasha says through squished cheeks and I nod as I stretch my fingers over her face healing her like a laser.

"Where she is from, her people in her realm like to be very close with one another." Thor says while crossing his arms with his hoodie on.

"What I want to know is what kind of relationship do you have with Mr. Pretty War Crimes. Who is down in a cell right now here in the tower." Stark asks whilst tossing an apple towards me. I catch it in my hands while playing with the leaf attacked to the stem.

"Yeah, we saw the footage of you guys..back on the jet." Steve explains and my face goes beet red as I take a bite of my apple hiding behind it.

"Right and it was ten times hotter than anything you could find on the hub. So please, explain." Stark leans against the counter with his face in his hands eagerly waiting for me to explain.

I roll my eyes. "He wasn't always like this. The way you guys see him. He was gentle, intelligent, funny. The bond he has with the Tesseract is a strong one. It bend your mind to its will, in order to complete any task. That same energy emanates from Loki's staff. It's controlling. Even the strongest willed body would have a hard time controlling its affects. He has saved my life numerous times. We were the closest of friends. We did everything together. We were inseparable. He was there when I fought my mother." I pause to see every one hanging on to my every word.
