I changed into a white gown the next morning with a fluffy tulle skirt that had little decorative pink flowers sewn on it. I took my hair out of its braids leaving it half up and half down with a pink flower crown and my vial necklace and Loki's key cell and tucked it into my bra between my breasts. This dress didn't have pockets and this way I wouldn't loose it and no one could take it from me.

I laugh for a moment thinking about how stupidly smart it was. After making sure I looked presentable for the queen I left my room closing my door softly behind me and headed for the garden. Loki and I's argument still lingered in the back of my mind but I pushed up anyway. I waited patiently in the garden checking on the plants there and watered them quickly with a bit of magic to help them become healthy again.

"Good morning, Carmella." The queen greets me with a sweet smile and I curtsy.

"Good morning my—" I pause and she raises a playful eyebrow. "Frigga." I say breathlessly and she grins at this. I was more nervous than I would care to admit. I have never wanted to impress someone so much.

"Aren't you a sight for sore eyes? If not your personality it is no surprise Loki is attracted to you." She spins me around and I let out a laugh while heat rises to my cheeks.

"Come on my dear, I want to show you something." She links her gloved hand with mine leading me up a grand staircase and into some sort of grand living room area. Where the couches were they had been pushed along a huge window with a decorative glass stain of her family. I took notice of the huge crescent moon behind them that shimmered on a shelf with a box far away. There was a huge vanity to my right and a tea table with snacks and Knick knacks on it. The room were a a pale silver color and the floor was a black glossy marble. She had a painting started on a grand canvas. It was of Loki. His usual pale skin but an ocean like blue creeps onto his shoulder and neck with his hair falling over one eye. He was in his usual green leather. I admire it for a moment and she smiles fondly while following my line of vision.

"I dabble in art." She shrugs and I stare at it even longer. It looked just like him. A replica.

"You are seriously talented.. you even got his eyes perfect.." She sat me on the sofa and sat next to me while offering me some tea. I accept gratefully.

"I want to give Loki a chance of redemption. You believe in second chances yes?" She looks over her teacup at me and I nod.

"Of course. I wouldn't be here without one."

"So then you understand that deep down Loki is capable of good?"

"Of course." My eyebrows raised and she scans my face for something before looking away.

"I wanted to ask you what happened to that night, when I asked you to sing. I only heard bits and pieces. Please do not hold back I want to understand what happened." She gestures to me. I carefully put my glass down and lift up my sleeve showing her my arm and what was carved into it.

"I was attacked by three men. They left me a parting gift." I gesture to my arm. And she carefully takes it into her hands. She mutters some kind of incantation under her breath and it disappears. I gasp while lifting my arm to examine it. "You, you healed it? I tried so many times."

"The blade that was used, is a special relic from the dark elves used to carve traitor into peoples arms as punishment. I learned of an incantation that could rid the scar many years ago. I am glad it was able to help you." She hold my hands in hers.

"I can not thank you enough." I run my hand over my forearm feeling nothing but my smooth skin.

"Before anything else I want to get to know you. And you, me." She goes on about her life and raising Thor and Loki. She tells me of Odin, who she struggles to see eye to eye with sometimes and of the people of Asgard and everything she finds interesting. I then go on about my early childhood and everything that happened here and on earth in the last year. My relationship with Loki and the more I spoke of him the wider her smile spread.
