~Ohm's POV~

Glancing around the completely blank and white walls seem to all make me just sigh in boredom, the same sights, every day. It's become very repetitive on base these past few days and I'm honestly getting tired of it. Although the mission nearing up is getting me excited right now it's sort of the boring phase right before the mission that is basically just the dreadful waiting part. Down the hall I notice Gassy talking with some other sergeants, seeming to be completely focused on whatever he's talking about, but that's how it basically is on base, always focused on Gassy and what his orders all direct us to do. Gassy suddenly glances over towards me and he motions for me to join, and although I hesitate to join them I eventually go forward and glance over at the paper Gassy had been motioning towards with them with an expression of pure seriousness, which also implies it's something boring the sergeants have to worry about.

"Ohm, you know the house, right?" Gassy questions and I glance down, the outline of the large house very familiar with the plans I had studied months ago for a mission I had done months ago.

"Of course," I nod and Gassy immediately hands me the blueprints and pats my shoulder, his eyes placing all o fhis trust on me. Like always, dumping all of his trust on me. Not that I mind but it's a bit tiresome to always be treated as if I'm the second highest rank when I'm no where near that high of a rank.

"Can you explain to them what they should watch out for and stuff? They're doing the weekly check up now, I need to go," Gassy says and I just nod and point towards the cellar of the house and glance up towards the other two sergeants, Sparklez and Hutch. They both nod and listen to me carefully, both seeming absolutely interested in everything I have to say. This house is mainly checked up on every week because of the strange occurences that always happen there, rumors around the town centralized on this one spot. Our suspicions on this place basically all rooted from the original finding of the building that we had found after discovering it was a creatures' hideout which had been hiding out in this place. They both nod quickly and take the papers from me when I finish up the last note and I glance back through the hall, noticing Gassy was held up once again by another corporal. Sometimes I wonder how he goes anywhere around base, always being stopped for advice or notices.

My respect for Gassy is higher than my respect for anybody, and honestly I feel as if Gassy is definitely the most capable. I had my doubts when first meeting him, very high doubts as he was the one bursting out in laughter at the recruits who had fallen. Despite that, I found out later a lot of those recruits were kicked out because of faking it, and I gained a whole lot of respect back from when I had heard that, to be expected. I walk in the opposite direction when I notice the nearby storage room and recall Corporal Chilled should be in there filing. Maybe I should check up on him. I'll be honest, I was very shocked when I had heard Chilled was here at base, but because of the blindfold and such it doesn't seem like he recognized me. Although I feel a bit bitter about it, I can't say I didn't understand. After all, it has been years.

"Chilled, you doing work?" I ask into the room as I enter and notice Chilled jump, seeming shocked with my sudden presence but quickly his posture shifts and the smile on his face tells me he had been waiting for someone to come over. Shutting the door behind me, I step further into the room and glance around, the mess of papers still a huge mess, probably larger than it had been before the filing since he must have had to take out the files in the wrong places and it's now sitting out here. At least that means he's actually doing his job properly, Gassy should be happy he's actually doing his work for once.

"Ohm buddy! How are you pal?" Chilled calls out as I walk further into the room and tap my fingers on the large table separating us. He steps around the large table and beside me, the doorway behind me only making me a bit suspicious he'll be trying to escape or something, it wouldn't be the first time he's tried. His enthusiastic voice and large smile makes me a bit cautious, afraid he'll try to talk his way into doing something like he always manages to do with me, then gets scolded by Gassy for tricking me. "Aw come on buddy, no need to be so untrusting," Chilled complains but I just narrow my eyes towards him, very paranoid and reluctant to listen to another word of his. He pouts and crosses his arms, glancing over in another direction suddenly with his shoulders slumped immediately causing me guilt for ignoring him. "Fine, don't trust me." I finally snap, and lean on the table, feeling guilty for ignoring him for so long.
