"What's wrong?" Thalia asked as she stopped eating her peach.
"I was just thinking about how lucky Olivia and you are, having people who like you."
"R-Ryan likes me?" she asked, eyes wide.
I smirked. "Of course he does. After her heard that you wanted him to rest, he agreed to doing so."
She turned her head away. "I never said that, though."
"But you did think it. Come on, both Alex and I could tell you were. And I don't even think the former used his powers to tell."
"Alright, I was worried about him. Hopefully, this can give him the distraction he needs."
"He seems homesick."
Thalia glanced at the blue sky. "I think all of us are. You're fortunate to be home, Bella."
I nodded. "Yeah. Now, if only I could find love."
"Come on, romantic love isn't the only way of achieving happiness in life.
I hugged her. "That's true. At least I have my best friend here."
Thalia patted my back. "You got that right."
"What are you two doing loafing around here?" a voice called out.
I glanced up and saw the werewolf that had attacked us a few weeks ago standing in front of us.
