"Thanks for the story, Alex," Olivia spoke up as she rose from the bed. "Well, I better go to bed. Tomorrow will likely be a long day."
Elliot rubbed one of his eyes and yawned. "I should too," he said said he escaped my grip.
I nodded. "Same here. But first, I'm going to go make a call."
"Home?" Elliot asked as if finishing my sentence.
I stood up. "Yeah."
"Don't you need a dimensional call amplifier for that?" Olivia asked.
I laughed. "Usually, but my big brother installed one into my cell. It just needs a normal signal."
"One can do that?" Elliot asked, tilting his head at me.
"Most haven't figured it out yet, but my brother did." I pulled out my blue phone. Hideo had actually made it for a potential return to Abyssia. Only issue would be getting a normal signal, but he was hard at work on solving that.
"He must be a genius," Olivia said, eyes wide.
I laughed. "He liked to call himself that when we were younger." All of this was in the hope of saving Dan. Though at this point, it likely was too late...
"Alex?" Elliot said, glancing at me.
I turned away. "Be right back."
With those words, I ran off.
