I patted Olivia shoulder and smiled. "Let's try to make the most of this day."

She looked at me directly in the eyes and smiled. "Yeah."

We walked outside and much to my surprise, Xulan was waiting for us.

"Done?" he asked, smiling.

"Did you overhear us?" I asked.

He crossed his arms. "I tried to tune it out."

My cheeks warmed up. Thankfully, we didn't talk about anything embarrassing.

"Let's go. I'm worried about the others."

"Huh, why?" I asked.

"Keith joined them."

"Ehh? He's coming with us too? Hmm, wonder if brother will join us too."

"You invited him?" Olivia asked.

I nodded. "Yeah. He's been as hard at work as Ryan has."

She raised an eyebrow at me. "Doing what exactly?"

"He's been holed in the library. I asked him what he was looking for, but he wouldn't say."

"I have a small idea," a voice called out. We turned and saw a blond man with brilliant blue eyes.

"Good morning, Emperor Huang," I said, bowing my head slightly.

He smiled. "It's always odd to see you acting formally. More so when you're dressed like that. Where are you off to?"

"We're going shopping," Olivia responded.

Huang put a hand to his chin. "Shopping? Why would you dress that nicely just to go shopping?"

My face reddened. "I felt like it!" I blurted out.
