and even if i may not have wanted to go
it seemed to be the only way to get rid of that feeling
so tell them all im sorry
because if i tried harder
we could have had a few more days
i didn't mean to cause you pain
my own clouded my judgement
and so here i am
and there you are
i looked for the easiest way
to do the hardest thing
call me weak because i agree
wipe your tears
and breathe the air i cant
tell them all im sorry
i just couldn't wait any longer
the dark called me
and i felt more wanted there
i dreamed many times of holding hands with it
it promised no more pain
who was i turn it down
so please tell them all im sorry
i thought id take all the pain with me
i never thought i create more
the dark didn't tell me that
Sakusa stared at the words that were sprawled on your journal. He couldn't process what he was feeling. All he knew was that he needed to find you, to tell you how much he wanted- no needed you to stay.Minutes before when he opened your journal to read your lasted entry he knew it was wrong. He knew that this was invading your privacy. The guilt was eating him up. He almost closed your journal because of it.
But he didn't, because he need to know what was going on in your mind. He needed to know what was stopping the smile he knew so well. What in the world was making you ignore his text? Making you skip class, making your grades slip? What was the cause!?
Sakusa wasn't sure, he most certainly did not expect this. It tore his heart in two to think that someone, let alone you, the person who made him wake up in every morning, could ever possibly feel like this.
Shutting your journal he pushed it back in your backpack, and rushed out of the classroom to follow you. If was free period, an hour before the students had to return to the classroom. An hour to tell you how much he wanted to stay.
An hour may be enough time, but would his words be enough? Would his words be able to shine through he clouds that covered your skies?
He could only hope.
