Alyssa's pov:
When I woke up. I wasn't in the best position to be sleeping in. I got up stretching. I went to grab some water. I walked out and Thayne was already awake. Which was normal. He was always awake before me. We smiled at each other. We both weren't major morning people.

You got work today?

Nah, I got a swing for me. You got work?

Sadly yes

He laughed at my reaction. I glared at him. I tried to find something I could have done before I left. I ended up making a scramble. Easy and quick.

I styled my hair for work. Putting on my uniform. I had time before work. I guess I got sidetracked. I was now looking at photos from when Alex and I were together. I sighed knowing I missed the feeling but not the person.

I got up brushing my teeth. Finalizing everything I needed today. I grabbed my bag and headed out.

-Jon's apartment-
-11 am-

Jon's pov:
I woke up. Dam, it's late. Thank goodness there's no work today. I was hungry tho. Maybe I'll go to the place where Alyssa works at. It had good food.

So I put on something casual. It's not like I'm trying to impress. Wait am I trying to impress Alyssa? No no. She's my best friend's brother. I wouldn't. But she's so beautiful. The way she carries herself. She's so graceful as well. She can sing. She's just so, I don't want to say perfect. Because no one is perfect. But it's like she is my type of perfect.

I walked down to the restaurant. I walked in seeing Alyssa at a table full of guys. My jaw tightened. A girl named Leo came over.

Hi, can I help you?

Hi, table for 1, please

Can you wait 10 minutes?

I can

Okay thank you

I sighed as I watched Alyssa slide into the booth next to them. Oh Jesus does she know them? I watched as Leo came over to the spot. Whispering something to Lyssa. She looked back. Smiling at me.

Boys! I have to go help someone else. I'll be back. Be nice to Leo understood?

Jon this way

I followed her. She led me to a booth. Not that far from the group of guys. Since she was waiting for both of us. I guess she needed us close. I ordered iced tea and a burger. I watched as put the order in. She poured and brought me my iced tea. I thanked her.

I watched as Leo waited for people to check out. I watched as Alyssa went to grab my food. She handed it to me. She brought Leo over.

Hey Jon, my shift is over. So Leo here is going to take care of you for me. If you need anything just call for her

I smiled at her.

Alyssa's pov:
I told Jon my shift was over. I put back my uniform. Putting on my regular clothes. I walked out sliding into the booth with the guys. I made friends with them when Thayne and I moved here to New York.
