Alyssa's pov:
I laid on Jon's bed fighting to sleep. It was 2 am. I had been here for 2 days. No social media. My friends blowing up my phone. I only answered Jon because only he knew.

I looked at Thayne as we sat around the living room doing presents. My niece sitting in my lap. Thayne holding our other nephew.

Auntie Alyssa!

I heard my other nephew's voice say as he came downstairs.

Baby doll!

I said hugging him. He sat in my lap as well.

Lys how's Jon doing?

Koyd asked with his arm around his wife.

He's doing good, he's in jersey right now with his parents

I smiled. Them not knowing what I was doing in January.

When are you going to see him again?

I leave tomorrow morning because the 27th is our anniversary

I smirked. I hadn't seen Jon for a week. We both need physical touch and we knew it.

I put the pillow over my head. The faint smell of Jon from the last time we were here. I groaned and put it down. His room not changed. I was in his sweater and his boxers. I had packed a month's worth of clothing. If I need to buy more I would.

Thomas, can we talk?

I asked. He nodded letting me in.

What's up Alyssa?

He asked me sitting down.

I need time away from here-

I said.

What do you mean?

I need to getaway

I said.

Why Alyssa?

It's getting too much Thomas, I'm sinking under again and I hate it

I said rubbing my eyes.

Take as much time as you need, I just need you back before June

He said looking at me.

I sighed. I had "left" Hamilton a few days ago. I looked at my phone. The calls and the messages adding up.
