Nora was annoyed.

Ever since Weasley gave her a piece of his mind it seemed like something changed. For example, she couldn't stand Ronald Weasley, and had the urge to rip out his limbs one by one. Nora wanted to inform Draco about his words, but decided against it. She needed to fight her own battles, and not rely on her cousin for everything.

Another thing. Hermione Granger did not seem to leave her alone.

For some strange reason, after every class or every study session, Granger seemed to want to talk to her about something. The Slytherin thought about it for a while, but came up with nothing. Maybe she wanted to apologize. After all, she looked uncomfortable with what Weasley was saying. Or perhaps she wanted to taunt Nora further. She probably only stopped her fellow prefect in fear that they might lose house points.

She decided with the latter.

It was stupid, thinking about Granger. What was so important about a stupid Mudblood anyway? Nora questioned herself every time the bushy-haired girl entered her thoughts. If she ignored the girl long enough, perhaps she would take the hint, and shove off.

That didn't happen however.

Thus, leading to Nora being annoyed.

What was Granger's problem? Wasn't kissing the teacher's arse not enough to keep her satisfied? What would making fun of the pure-blood give her?

Nora came out of the library after a tiring hour of studying. She had received an "Acceptable" on her last Transfiguration quiz. That was good enough for the Slytherin, but not enough for her aunt and uncle. She vaguely remembered Aunt Cissa's words, to study hard and pass her O.W.Ls with flying colors. Personally, Nora didn't see the point of this. They were going to marry her off to some pure-blood and she was expected to be the perfect housewife and have children. What was the point of trying so hard if none of it was going to be of use in the future?

When she spoke to Draco about this, he simply shrugged and gave some lame reason. The girl concluded that her cousin didn't know what to tell her, because he didn't know the answer either. Why would he? He was a boy, expected to get a high position at the Ministry and provide for his future family.

Granger waited for her near the library doors, as she's done for the past few weeks. However, instead of Nora walking past and ignoring her, she turned around and faced the Gryffindor.

Granger's face turned surprised and frightened. Nora smirked, she certainly wasn't expecting that.

"Do you need something?" the bushy-haired girl asked Nora timidly.

The pure-blood snorted. "Well, it's not like I'm the one stalking someone." Granger glared at her. Nora waved her hand impatiently, "Well go on, tell me what you want so I can leave."

"What did you think of Ron's words?"

"Words...?"

Granger sighed, "Look, I know you know what I'm talking about. And I also know that you are upset and very angry and-"
