"What the hell are you planning?"

It was the fourth time today Mclaggen asked Nora that. And frankly, she was getting quite irritated.

"How about you shut up?"

"That's what you said the last three times," he frowned. Nora rolled her eyes and sighed in annoyance.

"Look, do you want a date with me?"

He nodded. "Well then be quiet."

Finally, Nora thought as the boy didn't respond. Peace and quiet.

The two of them were outside the Gryffindor common room, waiting for Granger to walk out. The plan was that when she did exit her common room, Mclaggen would meet her up with her, and take her to their date.

"We're in the same house," the boy began slowly.

"Yeah?"

"So why couldn't I meet her in the common room?" he asked. Nora scoffed and rolled her eyes.

"Are you really as dumb as you look? See-this is a private thing. I don't want any of the other students to know about her 'date.'"

"But why?" wondered Mclaggen. "I thought you both wanted to break these rumors."

"I have my own reasons," stated Nora.

"Whatever. This would have been a lot simpler if you just accepted my offer for a date."

Nora chose to ignore him. If she didn't and answered back, then she would most likely say something nasty. And if that happened, then the boy would forfeit on the plan. If that happened, then she would have to do something even more complicated.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, she came out. Her hair, surprisingly, was straightened. She wore a dress, with a light coat over it. Granger sort of looked nice for a change.

"Okay, there she is. Are you sure you understand the plan and what to do?" Nora asked. Mclaggen nodded.

"Alright go now."

"And what will you be doing again?"

"I will be watching the two of you, and making sure you don't do something stupid."

He grumbled something under his breath, and walked over to Granger. She looked at him, confused. Mclaggen seemed to be explaining everything to the girl, because she nodded. Nora watched as the two of them walked straight ahead.

Mclaggen was leading Granger to the secret spot that Nora had instructed. She found it in second year, when she was trying to get a place for some alone time.

Nora quietly followed the pair, listening to their conversation. Mclaggen was rumbling about Quidditch, and how he would most certainly make the team next year. The Slytherin could tell that Granger was clearly uninterested. Stupid boys, do they really not know how to entertain a women?
