Harry looked annoyingly beautiful tonight. He had decided to take another one of his cars, which I hadn't even realized that he had until I saw it parked outside of the garage, in order to avoid the hassle of having to put the top back up on my car.

It was as though he had the car purely to fit tonight's theme, as I instantly identified it as a restored 1920s Rolls Royce.

He drove with one hand, as he often did, other than when he was actually racing, and with his free hand, he used his index finger and thumb to tug at his plump bottom lip. I couldn't tear my eyes away from the single curl of hair that dangled perfectly across his forehead, even though I tried. That single strand of hair was going to be the death of me.

I don't know what Caspian must have said to Harry while I was waiting upstairs, but it must have been effective, as, thus far, Harry hadn't uttered a single rude word to me. While it was nice, I wasn't exactly sure what to think of it, nor how I felt about it.

But in the end, I decided to just roll with it, as it was nice to have a break from our incessant bickering. I made sure not to get too comfortable with this sudden change of character though, as I wasn't quite sure how long it would last.

Maybe it was my mind playing tricks on me, or maybe it was real, but either way, I felt like Harry kept stealing glances at me too. He would play it off like he was looking at the road or a jogger on the sidewalk, but there were certain times where he couldn't mask the fact that what he was looking at...was me.

I scolded myself as my eyes trailed from Harry's prominent veins in his hand, down to his perfectly tailored tux pants, my mind flickering to what I knew was underneath them. The bowtie that Marnie had picked out for him looked flawless with the rest of his ensemble, it really pulled the whole thing together. His clenched jawline made my skin go hot, and as I said, that single strand of hair was killing me.

We pulled up to Leonardo's house, and I felt like we had just arrived at a circus, the chaos of it all finally allowing me to pull my wandering eyes off of Harry.

Everyone and anyone was there. The line for the valet was barely visible due to all of the people wiggling in between and past the line of cars, all of them glittery and gold and decked out in their best 20s gear.
