AN- So this is an idea I had. So I wanted to publish the first chapter  of this book I'm thinking of publishing. Like I usually do. So this is actually the first chapter and part of the second chapter. As always, feel free to comment!
AU- Patton and Roman have telepathy, telekinesis, teleportation, and are brothen
Italics are thoughts

"Patton, Roman, remember, even though you can read people's minds, please don't use it to your advantage, and keep your telekinesis to a minimum! I'm looking at you Patton!" Their dad said, Matthew said. Patton looked down, fidgeting with the hem of his clothes. "And remember, don't talk to people through your mind!"

"Yes, dad," Roman and Patton said. They heard this every year, after every break, including 1 day breaks. They got it, don't use their powers outside of the house.

They teleported into an alley that no one was ever in and walked across the street to their school

A bunch of thoughts flooded into their brains.

"Ugh," Roman said, rubbing his head.

'Everyone here is such a loser... oh, when did Roman and... his brother get here. He's cute.'

Roman and Patton simultaneously rolled their eyes.

'Am I gonna get dress coded?'
'What if people don't like my new haircut?'

"Lydia! I like your new haircut!" Patton called. Lydia smiled.

"Thanks, Patton," She said.

This was something Patton did. He liked to hear people's doubts and anxieties and help with them.

'Lydia is so cute... too bad she's not gay.'

'I'm so excited to see my friends again!'

'We don't know what colours dinosaurs were, so they could've been holographic, or chrome for all we know!'

Patton held back his laughter.

"So, what's your first period?" Patton asked, clearing his brain as well as he could.

"I have history. What about you?"

"Study hall in the library," Patton said. "I'm kind of excited, there was a book I was going to rent last year and then I couldn't, someone had rented it," He said.

Roman nodded and the bell rung. They walked to their respective classes and Patton immediately started looking for the book.

He found the section it was in and looked for the title before finding it on a high shelf.

If you don't know, Patton is short. Barely 5'1, and couldn't reach a lot of high shelves. Usually he just used his telekinesis, but you know...

He looked around for a stool, but couldn't find one. He reached his breaking point. He looked around, confirming no one would see. He reached as high as he could and slowly pulled the book towards his hand with his mind.

He smiled, before hearing something through his mind.

'How did... What?'

Patton looked around, seeing a person. Far taller than him, maybe 10 inches at the smallest amount. Seeing him made his heart rate increase and he blushed.

He had dark hair, a light and dark eye. He was skinny, but not to the point where it looked super weird. He had a black polo shirt on and a blue tie, a messenger bag over his shoulder. He had a few books tucked between his arm and chest.
