Those three words made my eyebrows raise and my heart pick up as my head slowly looked around and almost missed the 3 dark outlines stood their in silence all their focus on us, my gaze wanted to stay on them but attempting to remove any suspicion I let my gaze wander over the cave walls. My eyes slowly made their way back to Dominic's, question held in my pupils,
"And who might this be?" A rough voice questioned, my head snapped towards the voice noting it came from the figure stood in the middle
"Alessandro," Dominic commented his voice void of any emotion, his arm fell from my waist as he crossed his arms across his chest and raised his eyebrows at the dark figures
"I guess our identity has been revealed," A higher pitched voice commented, she raised her hand as a bright light began to emit from it and her sharp features were visible as well as her shoulder length raven hair,
"I believe it has" a lower voice commented, my gaze moved to the man who just agreed with the raven haired girl, It was obvious they were siblings their sharp features appearing on both of their features. The girls raven hair also appeared atop this man's head styled cleanly. My gazed moved to the middle figure his pale skin contrasting against the siblings raven hair, his blood red lips looking out of place on his pale complexion. Light blonde hair styled professionally atop his head and a jawline sharp enough to cut glass attracted my eyes but cold blue eyes met mine shining with interest making me want to step back towards Dominic. His eyes seemed to shine like a magpies when they saw diamonds, i averted my gaze from his before meeting feminine cat like eyes assessing me. I raised an eyebrow at her, before moving my gaze back to Dominic question laying in them his silver eyes met mine no emotion evident before looking away again ignoring the obvious question in my eyes, Alessandro seemed to notice this movement before a smirk graced his features,
"Don't worry sweetheart I'll let you know who we are," Dominic's hand suddenly flew to my waist squeezing it slightly, his eyes cold as he looked at Alessandro, ignoring his gaze Alessandro pointed to the woman next to him who's cat like eyes follow Dominic movement her eyes narrowing at Dominic's hand on my waist, "This is Celeste." His gaze then travelled to the man stood on his other side, "And this my darling is Rome, Celeste's brother,"
"While these introductions are very fun I have one question," Dominic commented, while the comment was intended to be sarcastic his voice suggested otherwise, "What the fu- do you want." Alessandro let out a light chuckle before moving forwards slightly, "not much really," he gestured towards me starting to say something before a tight voice cut him off, "the girl," my head snapped to the woman I know knew as Celeste, It was my turn to chuckle, I raised an eyebrow at her looking her dead in the eyes before saying,
"Try me," my voice was hard and cold, it seemed to surprise everyone including me, out the corner of my eye I could see Dominic's emotionless face but I thought I saw a flash of amusement in those cloudy eyes
"Know sister be nice, it wasn't just her we came for it was also you Dominic," Rome added his lips were lifted slightly on one side as he gave out the information. The Amusement I once saw in Dominic's eyes was gone only anger and challenge lingered on his face,
"Why me?" I asked hesitantly, at that the three people stood before me started to laugh, Alessandro slowly stalked towards me opening his hand palm faced upwards as a ball of light flew up from his palm and hovered just above our heads. I winced slightly not prepared for the bright light that met my sensitive eyes, as my gaze refocused, I looked again at the carvings that littered the walls it seemed to tell a story. I tilted my head trying to read the writing beneath the carvings of people before slowly coming to the realization that it wasn't English, my gaze was brought back towards the people around me when I felt someone in front of me. I was met with cold eyes filled with amusement, intrigue and something else I couldn't quite place,
"Not many people get into a fight in the first few days of school," He started before cutting of my response, " But then again none of them are as..well how should I put it, none of them are as special as you," I raise my eyebrows at Alessandro, ignoring the warning growl that came from Dominic.
"Now I can see that your very confused, but you will find out what you really are soon my love," Alessandro commented sending me a smile to which I just cringed and stepped back
" All you have to do is come with us and all will be revealed," Celeste purred inching forwards, I felt Dominic tense behind me and I just looked at her before raising my eyebrows at the trio
"While I would love to join you guys," I said plastering a smile on face, "I was taught something called stranger danger," I deadpanned, I tightened the grip on my egg before reaching behind me and grabbing Dominic's wrists before sprinting towards the cave wall and throwing myself through it dragging Dominic behind me. I stumbled slightly almost losing my footing as I launched through the wall, I turned to Dominic preparing to bombard him with questions about what the hell just happened when I was stopped by a bubbly Thalia,
"You guys took forever, but that doesn't matter because you go your egg, wait! You got your egg, let me see, let me see, what does it look like? What colour is it?" Thalia bounced over to me and I just raised and eyebrow at her holding the egg out and letting my eyes flick over to Dominic who was ignoring the questioning glances I was repeatedly sending him,
"It's gold," Thalia stated in awe, I frowned slightly looking around at the others eggs, Kamaria's was green vines twisting round the sides with small pink buds beginning to sprout. I moved my gaze to the Twin's eggs, they were both identical, a smooth sea blue, plain but gorgeous, nonetheless. My gaze jumped to Thalia's; it was blood red jewels littered over the surface. Lastly, I moved my gaze to Rhea's egg, It was a snowy white scales littering the surface, It was elegant and I couldn't help but think about how well it suited Rhea. My view dropped down to my egg, shining slightly from the sunlight coming through the tall windows that surrounded us, I rubbed my hand over the surface the scales where sharp and had a somewhat rough texture,
"Well come on then we don't have all day," Dominic remarked pushing Thalia and the twins forward, I met Rhea's lavender eyes my mouth open slightly in surprise at Dominic's flat tone,
"Who died," I whispered as we chased after our instructor, I saw the corners of Rhea's mouth lift in an almost smile before they dropped and her gaze focused ahead,
"Come on we need to catch-up," Rhea ordered, before muttering "I don't fancy getting a beating tonight," I let out a huff before speeding up trying to catch up to their retreating figures.
