I shot out of bed the covers falling to my thighs as my head snapped around the room my breathing hard and coming out in spurts. My breathing slowly began to slow as I caught no sight of blonde hair, as I thought back to my dream my gaze snapped immediately to myself assessing how I looked, jumping out of bed and running to the mirror I let out a breath when I realised I was back to my original self. I inhaled sharply as memories of my dream came flying back into my head, I'd never seen that women before her looks held no place in my head, unlike her voice. That voice seemed to ring alarm bells in the back of my head yet I couldn't remember where I had heard the so called voice. I cringed inwardly as I remembered the pain I experienced yesterday, taking in a deep breath I lifted my shirt eyes dropping to my shirt. My eyebrows raised in surprise when no bruise was visible on my side, at that my eyes immediately flew to my other side mouth falling open as no bruise was visible n that side either. I spun around in the mirror finding no bruises visible over my entire body, my mouth hung open as I just stared in the mirror trying to work out why my side was clear. I tensed as I brushed my hands over my side, more confusion becoming evident on my features as no pain flew through my side, at that I swung my arms around and pressed down on my side expecting burning pain to flow through me. As confusion clouded my brain I didn't seem to think about what I was doing, before I had slammed Dominic's door shut behind me as I stood in his room eyes meeting amused silver ones,
"If I was naked," he started spinning around on the chair he was previously resting on, "What would you have done?" He finished, raising one eyebrow at me. I froze mouth hanging open, I closed it before opening it repeating the gesture twice before spluttering,
"excuse me?" he simply smirked at me gesturing for me to carry on,
"Dragon riders don't have like really quick healing do they?" I asked slowly, at that he seemed to lean forwards on his chair slightly,
"Your side has healed," he commented, my eyebrows raised in shock,
"How did-" I started,
"Your going to have to work harder to hide injuries from me Audelia, you are no longer careful when you walk and didn't wince once when you ran in here," He commented clasping his hands together eyes flicking from me feet before flying back to my eyes, "and no, no we do not heal over night," he added slowly, at that I swallowed hardly,
"Then why did I..." I trailed off eyes flicking around the room nervously,
"That," he started slowly rising from his chair his eyes catching mine, "that, I don't know," he finished. At that I let out a loud sigh, he turned around shuffling the papers laid atop his dark oak desk, "you should get ready." He stated, at that I nodded defeatedly disappointment making me turn slowly head hanging.

My breath came in pants as my sword clashed against the metal of another, I jumped out of the way of a blade coming straight towards my side stumbling slightly before regaining my balance ducking under a blade cutting through the air. I inhaled sharply at the close call, meeting my opponents blade cutting off their strike before my blade flung out towards their side, I could feel my muscles screaming we'd been at this for hours, my vision had became blurry at the edges and my throat was dry. I swung my blade out blindly creating distance between my opponent before edging forwards swing my blade messily before I gathered my strength hitting their sword out of their hand before letting mine fly up hovering just in front of their neck.
"Come on Thalia you could've easily blocked those messy blows that Audelia sent towards you," Dominic said as he shook his head at us watching as we collapsed onto the floor hands flying to out chests as we gasped for breath,
"We've been at this for hours, have some sympathy," Thalia said between pants,
"Your enemies won't have sympathy so why should I" he stated picking up our swords we had both abandoned on the floor,
"Maybe because you not our fucking enemy," I commented in between my gasps for breath. He just rolled his eyes at us shaking his head. My eyes met Thalia's ours both unamused before we both rolled our eyes at our instructor,
"Tell me that we're done for the day," Astra's voice commented her voice weak as she dragged her feet towards collapsing next to Thalia as I sat up, Dominic laughed as his eyes fell on us,
"We've barley even started," he commented with a smirk.
