I arrived at the location, discovered by me when I was a child.

In front of me were a lengthy patch of grass, a couple of trees, and a small stream. Simple scenery during the daytime, beautiful at night. Only at night did I ever visit this place. Only at night, this place appeared to be the most alluring thing that ever crossed my eyes.

In a fume of darkness, the grass along with the trees turned into a dark turquoise color. The stream reflected a warm shine of the moon which provided enough light to see the rest of the picture, and small entities came out of the shadows. At night this place became alive. Though the shadows prevented me from seeing much, tiny fireflies came to my rescue, making this experience much more beautiful to live through.

After placing my bookbag on the ground, I used my cardigan as something to sit on.

Contented, I sat there, staring into the stream that always managed to captivate my attention and fade my worries away.

----

Switching in between reading and sightseeing, I got lost in time. I managed to finish all of my school work and beyond that.

Soon I'll run out of things to study

I smiled to myself at the realization that I have become what my parents always envisioned me to become.

"It took a while to find you." I jumped at someone's statement.

With an assumption of whom might be in my presence, I whirled my head to verify. Needless to say, I was placid.

"How did you find this place?" I asked William who was statued behind me.

"I wasn't searching for this place, I was searching for you." He stated as he steadily made his way towards me. "May I?" He asked, referring to the spot near me.

I nodded in agreement and he sat beside me.

It became silent and part of me felt relieved that I could hear nothing else but the sound of water moving through the stream, yet I wanted to ask the reason I was hunted.

"Where is Elisabeth?" I questioned instead.

"I ensured that she got home by ordering my coachman to take her to her residence." He answered.

Closing my eyes, I felt relieved that she was safe and secure.

"As far as I can imagine, you're a busy man, you should be resting as well," I whispered.

"How hypocritical of you to speak upon resting." William looked at me, "Elizabeth revealed many things about you in these past hours. Such as your fixation upon studying, along with countless times when you lost hours of sleep. I wonder the reasoning behind such excessive amounts of tutoring."

Excellent question William...

"Surely you already know the answer to that," I answered. "Although, it is possible that you were simply... born brilliant."

I heard nothing of a reply.

"If I want to change this country, I wish to have enough knowledge regarding everything. Science, mathematics, languages- whether it is foreign or our own- all of these things could potentially make my job easier," I explained.

Strong aversion rose inside of me as the idea of explaining how my beloved parents disciplined me in such a way, flew across my mind. However, perhaps some truth lied among my bluff. In the least, I cannot imagine how tedious my life would've been if I didn't bury myself in books.

"To my belief, it appears as though you misjudge yourself, Lady GS." William held his chin as he spoke quietly, matching my articulation.

I looked at him, helplessly asking for a more detailed response. He understood my body language and proceeded.

"For the short period of time in which I honorably achieved my position as your new professor, I was capable of understanding your potential together with the competence, resting inside your mind. You are doubting yourself. Though the words on your notes and the numbers on your practicals are correct, there is an eye-catching display of fear which reveals itself through your handwriting."

At a loss for words, I listened carefully in awe, admiring his brightness.

"The shakiness of your hands unveils alone on a sheet of paper. You are undoubtedly frightened of your results, to which I have to say, you are the only student of mine that has not failed a single exam. And for that, I think that you should congratulate and gift yourself some rest. Miss Elisabeth worries greatly about your well-being, thus she felt terrible for upsetting you earlier." William finished his speech, which yet again left me speechless.

You are incredible William James Moriarty, simply... incredible.

"I suppose a day off wouldn't do much harm." I smiled to myself before glancing towards William's direction, where he met me with a pleased smile.

We sat there in silence, praising the charms of the sight in front of us.

"Allow me to walk you home Lady GS." William stood up and offered me his hand.

"Taking for granted, I fancy that we are sustaining with the gracious name-calling." I chuckled.

"You have yet to call me William." He smirked.

"Incorrect. As the matter of fact, I have called you William during our private conversation. Conversely, you have yet to call me Y/N." I replied.

"Well then, Y/N, I suppose we shall be on our way." He starred at me with a half-smirk half-smile look.

As we walked towards our estate, William shared many things about himself and his brothers. Correspondingly, I did the very same.

"It was a pleasurable chat Y/N." William smiled.

"Undeniably." I smiled back before opening our gate, "Arrive home safely... William."

His pupils narrowed down, before turning back to normal as he gave me a delighted smile.

He put on his hat, and moments later, he blended in with the darkness.
