YES! THANK YOU ALL FOR THE 20K READS! I APPRECIATE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU WHO STILL PUTS UP WITH THIS MESSY BOOK OF MINE. I HOPE YOU ALL ARE HAVING A GREAT DAY AND I WISH YOU GOOD LUCK ON WHATEVER YOU GUYS ARE DOING.

[•3rd POV•]
"Listen up, children. I have great news! Norman and Luna's gonna get adopted!" Isabella announced happily, while the two in front of her wore smiles.

"Huh?"

"T-tomorrow...?"

"Congrats!"

"Congratulations Norman and Luna!"

"They're leaving...?"

"Wha... WHAaAaAaAaAAAAAT!?"

After the little ruckus, the kids finally started to congratulate the two with happy smiles and positive words. While the 'sick' kids sat on their chairs on the table, watching with disgusted and unsure expressions.

'As long as our plan works out, we will be able to escape this place. Together with Norman and Luna.'

'Even if I have to force her.'

"Hey Norms, mind if we have a little chat?" Luna called as she entered his shared bedroom.

The albino gave the bluenette a wary look before eventually agreeing as he followed her into her room.

"What is it do you want?" He asked sternly as he crossed his arms.

"Here." Luna gave her the stuff Krone gave her, making sure that he had a firm grasp on it.

"Krone gave it to me, in hopes that I could aid your escape better. But as you can see, I'm not really in the right position to do that." She explained stoically.

"Then... Why me? Why not Ray? Or Emma?"

"Because I know you, Norman. You'd figure it out eventually, I just know it. And when you do, I hope you'll understand why I did what I did."

"Why not explain right now? With the rest? Why are you making us think you're the bad guy?"

"Because it's the only way to make sure you all escape successfully." These words took Norman off guard as his brain racked for an answer, a logical one that would explain why Luna did this to them when she really wanted them to escape.

"Anyway, see you later." Luna finished as she pushed the albino out of her room, giving no place for argument.

It took a moment for Norman to process what just happened, as he finished, he looked down and grabbed the pen with his free hand.

'What is this?' He thought.

| ~The Next Day~ |

The morning was like any other, the kids ate food, took their daily tests, and lived their happy lives like a peaceful orphanage. Everything and Everyone is the usual.

The kids. The group. And Isabella.

And then, Norman disappeared.

—————

"Hey Luna." Ray called as he went inside the bluenette's room. Finding her with a book in hand, seems like she'll pretend to read that as she secretly watched over them.

Too bad Ray won't let her.

"Can we please talk?" He asked, almost desperately as he emphasized the 'please'. Luna looked to be contemplating as she rose a brow at him, but she eventually agreed as she helped the fatigue boy to sit on the edge of her bed.
