Chapter 4

"Ahh I give up!" I jumped to my seat when Jiyeon suddenly yelled as she messed up her hair.

"You scared me." I told her as my hand landed on my chest.

"Why is it so hard to choose a song for the audition?" I can only sigh at her. I've been recommending songs for her for the past hour and all she did was reject all those suggestions.

"Maybe you shouldn't just sing." Dongmin said, quietly reading a book beside her.

"Are you crazy?!" Jiyeon retorted as she waved her hand into the air ready to slap him. He then uses his book to shield himself from Jiyeon's hand but she doesn't slap him, she instead groans in annoyance.

"Why am I the only one who's having this kind of problem?!" she sighs heavily and starts scrolling onto her phone again.

"Are you guys hungry? I'm going to buy food to eat." I asked, standing up from my seat.

We've been hanging out here at the back of the school's building for over an hour now, waiting for our next class to start. I'm starting to get bored, Jiyeon is still busy looking for a song to use for the audition while Dongmin is busy reading a novel.

What am I supposed to do when I'm bored? I'll eat of course. There's a nearby convenience store around here, I'll just grab a snack then I'll go back here.

"Me too, I'll stay here and look out for our things." Jiyeon said and she opened her bag and looked for wallet.

"Do you want me to go with you?" Dongmin said as he slowly closed the book he was reading.

"No, it's fine. I won't be long." I smiled, I accepted Jiyeon's money and I looked at Dongmin for his money too.

"You don't want something to eat?" I ask, I even extended my hand at him with my palm facing up. It took him a few seconds before sighing and getting the money to his bag.

"Jieun, you know my favorite snack right?" I nodded at Jiyeon's question.

"I'll just have a sandwich." Dongmin said as he handed over his money.

"Okay!" I smiled and quickly walked to the convenience store.

I'm actually having a problem choosing what song to use for my audition too. I know I can't dance, so I just have to do my best at singing. Should I use my guitar? How do I even make my audition creative? Maybe I'll ask for their opinion later too.

There aren't a lot of students roaming at this hour, probably they all have class. I have to admit that this is my favorite time of the day, it's just almost 3PM but I still have to stay at school until 5PM.

"Jieun!" I stopped on my track to look for the person that shouted my name.

"Lee Jieun!" my mouth agape at Jimin who's smiling at me not from afar. I gulp as I realize that I need to walk past him for me to get to the store.

"Hi, Lee Jieun." he said again as I walked near him. I bow my head in embarrassment and just smile away.

"Where are you going?" ah he is so nosy. We were now walking side by side and it felt so awkward.

"I'm just going to buy snacks at the mini mart." I softly said.

"Really? I'm going there too, you also don't have class right now?" I looked at him quickly and shifted my gaze somewhere else. I couldn't look at him, the scene of embarrassment from yesterday was all I could think of right now.
