"Oh, what are you guys doing here?"
I was surprised to see Jiyeon and Dongmin sitting on the couch when I got back from the convenience store. They were both on their phones when I saw them, and they synchronously looked at me.
"We're here for Seokjin, not for you." Dongmin said and he turned his attention back to his phone. I scowled at them and placed the bag of snacks on the coffee table. They both looked at it for a moment before I butt in.
"These are not for you, I bought these for myself." I said teasingly and grinned at them afterward.
Just then, Seokjin came inside from the patio. He was surprised when he saw my friends, he smiled widely before hugging both of them.
"We missed you." Jiyeon said shyly. I snorted when I saw her shyness towards Seokjin. I know for a fact that she purposely tried to act shy in front of him. Seokjin likes those kinds of girls.
"Where's Minju?" I asked him as soon as he sat down beside Dongmin. Jiyeon sits beside me, across from them.
"She asked me to buy snacks." I said as I opened the bag and it revealed a variety of potato chips and rice balls.
"Oh, she'll probably won't come down." Seokjin answered while a smirk was playing on his lips.
"What? Why?" I asked. She was so excited when she asked about Korean foods.
"She's mad at me." That was all he said before he gave his full attention to the food that I just bought.
"Jieun!" I heard Minju call me from upstairs. Heavy footsteps can be heard while she was going down the stairs. She looked at me with a frown on her face, almost crying. She ran towards me and hugged me sitting down.
"Don't encourage her Jieun, she deserves it." Seokjin said when I tried to calm her down. She kept whining about Seokjin, telling me something about confiscating her cellphone.
"Hey, I have to! Ever since we came here all you did was to talk to your boyfriend. I told you already to break up with him!." Seokjin said in a calm manner. Minju pulled away from me to face her brother.
"Why do you hate him so much?!" she fired back, with the same anger.
"I don't like you dating guys yet. You're still young, you shouldn't be thinking of dating yet."
"Why do you care?! I don't even care when you bring different girls at home!"
"Enough Minju!" Seokjin's face hardened, he was trying to act calm as much as possible but I think he lost those now. His jaw clenched as he let go of the snack he was about to eat. Minju was startled by Seokjin's sudden outburst.
"That's enough, once we get back you'll break up, or else I will." He stood up and left the room, we all looked at each other before Dongmin decided to get up and follow Seokjin to the patio.
"This is so annoying!" Minju said as she continued to stomp her feet on her way to her bedroom.
"Whew, I gotta say your cousin is a brat." Jiyeon commented and opened one of the snacks.
"She wasn't like this before. High school does have a lot of influence on teenagers." I said and ate the snack that was in her hand.
So much for a BBQ night, Minju acted all quiet throughout dinner. Mom and Dad noticed it, but Seokjin assured them it was nothing to worry about. The next few days, we all decided to hang out around the Han River. We rented bicycles and when we got tired, we sat down on the picnic blanket.
"Have you broken up with him yet?" Seokjin asked. Minju just gave him a glare before sighing.
"I did, he kept calling me last night but I blocked him. Happy now?" She replied and rolled her eyes. Seokjin smiled at her as he patted her head.
