Roman woke up, and looked out his window, and saw it was raining.

-------------------------------------------

Roman was holding Virgil close. He and Remus were outside jumping in puddles, giggling. It had been pouring all day and had just lightened up, so their parents let them play in the puddles.

"Wroman, wanna make mud pies?" Remus asked.

"Thure, Wermuth," Roman said. "Ooo, can we altho make mud cathtles?"

"Yeah!"

Roman put Virgil on the inside of his rain jacket. The stuffed toy's head was popping out the top, over the zipper. Roman made mud castles while Remus made mud pies. Occasionally, they helped each other with what they were making. Remus also shoved his face into the mud and eating some of it.

"Wemuth don't eat that!" Roman screeched as Remus was about to eat a worm.

Remus moved the worm away from his mouth, "why not?"

"Becauthe it's wiving," Roman crossed his arm. "And don't kwll it!" he added. "Vwrgwl agreeth wif me."

"Fiiiiiine," Remus wined.

-----------------------------------------

Roman chuckled at the memory, getting ready for work.
