"Nooo, don't go," complained Alex, and Magnus laughed.
"Why?" he teased.
"Because you're warm and I'm cold."
"Is that all? I'm just your personal heater?" asked Magnus, pretending to be offended.
"Yes, now stop talking and cuddle me back." Alex tugged at his boyfriend's sweater, and Magnus lay down next to him, laughing softly.
"Okay, okay. A few more minutes, and then we'll get up," he said.
But minutes turned into hours and soon the whole day had passed them by. Alex yawned prettily and looked up at Magnus.
"Hey, Beantown. What d'you think about a midnight stroll?" She asked him, still a little sleepy. Magnus noticed the gender shift, and pulled her a little closer.
"I think it'd be amazing, my love. Everything is with you." And although Alex was not normally one for sappiness or anything romantic, she couldn't help but melt a little at his words.
"I love you," Alex whispered, for the first time.
Magnus was shocked, but hid it. It wasn't unwelcome.
"I love you, too."
