idk i've seen this ship a couple of times and it's kinda cute.

Katie carefully put her head on her girlfriend's shoulder, trying not to draw any attention to them. She and Drew weren't exactly out yet, but at the back of the campfire, where no one would even bother to look, the daughter of Demeter figured that it was safe.

Drew rubbed her girlfriend's hand with her thumb gently. "Are you okay?"

"Mm-hmm. You should sing," Katie said sleepily.

"What? What would I even sing?"

"Line Without A Hook. I love that song, and you sing it really nicely." Katie blushed furiously, realising what she'd just said, and Drew laughed softly.

"Okay. I'll tell the Apollo kids." They pulled away from each other a little before Drew brought the attention to them, but their fingers stayed intertwined under the bench.

"Hey, Austin!" Drew yelled. "Play Line Without A Hook. Please."

Everyone was a little shocked that Drew was bothering to contribute, but Austin did as he was told and strummed the first few chords as Drew got ready to sing.

When she got to the chorus, Katie couldn't help but quietly hum along with her. They sounded beautiful together, and Drew smiled at her subtly as she harmonised.

"Singing, she's a, she's a lady, and I am not a boy," sang Drew, changing the words a little.

"I'm singing, she's a, she's a lady, and I am just a line without a hook." Katie finished the chorus, and Drew carried on singing, hearing a couple of whispers but not caring enough.

"Oh, baby, I am a wreck when I'm without you! I need you here to stay..."

"Broke all my bones that day I found you, crying at the lake," Katie joined in.

"Was it something I said to make you feel like you're a burden?" they sang together. "And if I could take it all back, I swear that I... would pull you from the tide..." The song finished, and the other campers clapped enthusiastically.

Katie leaned forwards a little, and whispered so that only Drew could hear her. "Can I kiss you now?"

Drew grinned. She leaned forwards and kissed Katie before she had the chance to kiss her first, and the campers cheered as she kissed back.

All in all, it was a good evening for a campfire, Katie thought.
