Part 5

Ami's Pov

ONE WEEK INTO THE SCHOOL YEAR 

I was lying on the ground waiting for Shawn to get out of his leader meeting or whatever thinking about how we've been going to beacon for about a week now Ritsuko has loosened up around us a bit more which is good. Shawn told me about his family and village last night. Declan is still closed off around me and Shawn than he is with Ritsuko which I can understand but he is still much more open than before so we have that going for us. 

"HEY AMI COME ON WE'RE GOING TO BE LATE FOR  STEALTH AND SECURITY!" Shawn yelled at me after running out of his meeting "OK OK I'm coming I'm coming." I told him with a quiet laugh. "Hey, do you know if we will be meeting up with Ritsuko and Declan there or at lunch?"  Shawn asked me, as we were walking down a pathway towards the building that our next class would be. "I think we're meeting with them there unless the headmaster is keeping them later." I told him wondering just what they managed to get themselves into this time. "Well I hope they're going to be at Stealth and Security then we can discuss plans for the up-and-coming trip into Vale." Shawn told me as we were rounding the corner that would have taken us to the hallway that had our classroom in it. When low and behold team ECHO decided to make an appearance. "Well well well look who it is boys Miss know-it-all and Mister scaredy-cat." Evan said while Christophe, Hector, and Osvaldo all started to laugh as if he just said the funniest thing in the world. We tried to avoid them but they blocked our path. "Where do you think you're going?" Christophe scowled "We haven't even congratulated you yet on getting a team and given you your getting into beacon gift yet." They all started to circle us and they grasped their weapons. "A-Ami I don't think we're going to be able to get out of this," Shawn told me getting in front of me. "That's Right there is nothing two underclassmen can do especially the first years," Evan said and that's when they sprung. Ahh! Shawn gasped out in pain as Osvaldo used his semblance to make Shawn relive something "No MOM DAD!" Shawn yelled out in pain it was that moment that Hector decided that he would try to attack me. He pulled his spear out and started trying to stab me which I dogged every time. I felt like I was about to explode on everyone and attack them. Ami you can't attack them or else your whole team will be expelled. it doesn't matter if I get expelled so long as the rest of the team was alright. I was cut out of my mental debate when Shawn yelled out. "NO Opal please no don't die please!" Sawn sobbed out. I had enough when Osvaldo started to hurt him even more but this time using Opal "Aww did the little boy lose someone." Then Evan decides to make everything so much worse and says Shawns fears out loud.  "I bet they probably wanted to leave you long before since you can't even fight back. Isn't that right boys"  I was able to grab Hector's spear in my hand and rip it out of his grip. Which shut them all up. "Leave him alone or I will personally hunt you down and kill you," I growled when I knew I had their full attention. "What makes you think we're scared of you?" Christophe asked with a hint of alarm in his voice. I snapped the spear in half and threw it on the ground. All the while keeping eye contact I grabbed Shawn who had just come out of memory lane when I said. "Because I can destroy you without even realizing it." I made sure Shawn was somewhat standing before I took him to the nurse's office 

"Ami we need to go to class their going to wonder where we are," Shawn told me as he tried to get out of my grip without falling over. "Shawn you can barely walk right now I'm taking you to go see Miss Salutem. Don't try to argue with me about this." I told him after that I sighed. you always seem to want to protect others but when someone tries to help you, you shove them off and pretend that everything is alright. 

"Alright kiddos your all set to head out now, and if any of the teachers ask why you skipped class let them know that you were with me." Miss Salutem told us sweetly while she gave us each a lollipop.
