Part Ten

Shawn's pov

"Well since there doesn't really seem to be much going on right now. What do you all say to tell us all about how you did your landing strategies." Gabrial said while stretching out on the couch. "Sure Shawn you're the leader why don't you start," Ritsuko said looking at me while smirking. "Why do you hate me so much." I said moaning, "Oh I don't but I'd like to see you try to explain to a superior what you did." She smiled that evil smile of hers that we have grown to fear. "Fine. Alrighty then, here we go, So my landing strategy is..." I said trying to buy time and that Ami would cover for me. "Shawn please don't tell me that you forgot again. What happens when you forget in the middle of being thrown off a cliff," Ami exclaimed realizing that I had no idea, so she thankfully threw me a bone. "It's you use your sword's metal to form a zip line," Ami told me, saving me from utter humility. "Yeah sorry about that it won't happen in that setting," I said bashfully. While everyone else looked at Ami wondering how she knew that and I didn't.  "Your turn Ami," I said trying to get everyone's attention back to where it needed to be. "Oh yeah it is, isn't it. Well, mine isn't anything special I just use my scythe to grab onto something to stop my fall and get the momentum out." She said while shrugging. "Ritsuko it's your turn," Ami said while leaning up against the nearest wall. "I use my arrows to put dust on the ground if there's not enough to safely use my semblance. Which I will use to form a rail from the ground to me." She said easily like she does this every day. How can she be so calm? Especially in front of people, while they may not want us to die, they still don't want to be around us.  "What is your semblance miss Suzuki?" Ritva asked her still as cold as ice almost as if she didn't really care but just wanted to see our weakness. "My semblance is Glass caress, Ma'am. "Understood." How does she handle superiors questioning her? I would have blanked out on all of them, you could ask me my name and I wouldn't know what to tell you. "Declan you're next," Ritsuko said while taking her seat on a crate. "My landing strategy is to activate my semblance which is magic to help me to float down to the ground safely," Declan said while seating with perfect posture next to Ritva. There was a minute of silence when Gabrial's scroll when off. "I need to take this," He said while moving to a corner where we couldn't hear him. I wonder if that was another member of the PROGRES. Not even thirty seconds later Onacon's scroll when off he excused himself and walked off. "Well, I suppose that is all that's we are doing today," Ritva said and excused us with a wave of her hand. We went out of the room in awkward silence trying to find out what to say although everyone couldn't think of anything to say. Other than how weird that was. 

"So what do you think was so important that they had to blow us off," Ami asked with a hint of worry in her voice. "Ami they are very busy. You can't just expect them to drop everything just to be around us." Declan hissed annoyed at her. "I can actually since they were the ones who asked for us so they could teach us so we would be ready for whatever happens next. So yeah I can." Ami said almost yelling at that point. "Why do you care?!" Declan shouted. Thankfully we were on our floor and there was only NEON's dorm than ours but everyone should be gone right now. "BECAUSE ANYONE I TRUSTED STABBED ME IN THE BACK!" Ami yelled at the top of her lungs and apparently NEON was still in their dorm since the door opened and Nixion ran out next to Ami, while El stood there opened mouth, Orion was in the doorway with a shocked look on his face, all the while Nova stood there not really knowing what to do feeling like the rest of our team. "Well, I'm sure you deserved it. You always seem to have something to hide even from us, and you always run out at night to do something and don't come back until breakfast. What are you doing and keeping from us, or is it because you're a part of the Pavojus you are always keeping secrets from us and your knowledge about certain things that only a member of a crime gang would know." Declan said mockingly. "You don't even deserve to be here I know tons of people who I would rather have than you here. You should just leave. Save people time." He finished off with. "Fine, then I'll leave," Ami said almost on the verge of tears she then turned around and ran. "AMI WAIT!" Team NEON Ritsuko, and I all yelled.  "WHY ON REMNANT WOULD YOU THINK THAT WAS OK?" Nixon yelled at him while Nova decided that now would be a good time to step in. "Nix, buddy, friend, calm down, deep breaths." He said while trying to hold him back. "It's none of your business what I say to my teammates now is it." Declan snarled out. "Guys how about we each go to our separate rooms and cool off for a little bit," El said not shouting for once trying to defuse the situation. "Yeah, that's a good idea," I said shocked that Declan would take it this far. Nova was able to get Nixon to go back to their room with the promise of blueberries and bananas. Ritsuko dragged Declan back to our room by his ear while I looked in the direction that Ami had gone in, she'll be fine right and besides, we're going to need to talk with Declan first since it's late anyway and she's normally back by the morning.
