Part Seven

Declan's POV

 When I woke up Ritsuko was already awake and was checking her scroll. "Any word as to where Ami's location is?" I asked, looking over towards where Shawn was still asleep knowing that he would probably turn Beacon upside down to find her if she hadn't responded. "Yes, actually she just sent me a message about how she would meet us at the food court at seven."  Ritsuko told me "What about where she was all of last night?"  I said already knowing what the answer would be but wanting to hear it from her. "She plans on telling us at breakfast so she won't have to repeat herself over and over again," Ritsuko said while moving to wake Shawn up. "AMULET WAKE UP! WE'RE ABLE TO SEE AMI! NOW MOVE!" Ritsuko yelled for the sole reason that he won't wake any other way. Which we found out quickly the first day in the dorms. "Huh, what's going on?" Shawn asked sleepily. "Ami is going to meet us at the food court," I said slowly so he could understand me another thing we found out. "WAIT AMI'S BACK WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SOMETHING EARLIER!" Shawn yelled almost out of the door. "Kom tilbake." I said tiredly already knowing what I was about to deal with. "Declan let me go! We need to get to the food court to see Ami!" Shawn yelled frustrated and struggling. "I would love to but I get the feeling that you might want to keep some sort of dignity as the team leader," I said releasing him from the spell. "Yeah, that might be a good idea." Shawn said bashfully running into the closet to change. I can't figure that boy out some times he acts like he's fine but if you can read through the lines far enough you can tell that is the farthest from where he is. Ami seems as if she is keeping some sort of secret as well but she and Ritsuko can hide theirs especially well. I almost didn't know that they're keeping secrets had Ami not acted weird yesterday when she and Nixon saw each other I wouldn't have known about her's. Ritsuko I only learned that she had one when she woke up from a nightmare one night when I was studying late, she told me that it was nothing but I find that hard to believe. 

 "Alright let's go, and find our last team member," Shawn said while running out of the bathroom. "Yep let's go bring her back." Ritsuko said with a small smile grabbing Oblivion Oath and putting it in its place holder. "Emprós!" Shawn yelled while drawing Courage and pointing it towards the door. I grabbed Aelfdeneand put it in my special side pouch. "Let's go find Ami. Who is at the food court." I said not really too impressed by everyone's dramatics.

Bang

Our dorm room door flew open and at the other side was team NEON "We're here let's go find Ami!" Nova yelled while El cheered in agreement. "Sorry, we couldn't stop them." Nixon said more like panting. "Yeah we read Ami's message and these two knuckle-heads were already out the door." Orion said while hitting them over the top of their heads. Which was met with grounds and complaints. "Come on we should get going. Let's not keep Ami waiting any longer." Shawn said surprisingly being the voice of reason for once. "Alright let's goooooo!" El yelled grabbing Orion, and Ritsuko while Nova grabbed Nixon and me. Shawn just ran to keep up with us.

Time skip to the lunchroom

"AAAAMMMMMIIIIIII!!!!!" El yelled  jumping up onto Ami and taking her out "Oww, Hi EL hi everyone." Ami said and you could see that she was mentally preparing herself for the on slot of questions. "Where were you?!?" "Why didn't you message someone?" "Are you alright?!?" "What happened?!?" "Where did you go?!?" "You missed our song!" "Or at least you could've shown up with Nixon to tell us that you were alright." Everyone said at once and you could barely tell where one sentence started and the other ended, and who said what. "Sorry I just needed to take a breather, I didn't mean to be ut that long but it sort of just happened," Ami said while looking around making sure we didn't attract too much attention. When her eyes lock on something or someone behind us. "Ami what is it?" I asked hesitantly somewhat afraid of her answer. She started to smirk and let out a breath of laughter and said "Incoming." "Ouf, wait AMALIA what are you doing here?!?" Nixon yelled I guess they know each other. "Hey Nixy, hey Quale, how are you two doing?" "Well until you jumped on me. Fine." Nixon said while still being on the floor. "I'm doing great, now can you please get off your brother." Ami said to the girl who is apparently Nixon's sister. "Fine, fine your no fun. By the way who are these people?" She asked. "Oh right. Sis, I'm the leader of team NEON the members are El, Orion, and Nova, Nova is my partner. Nova, El, Orion meet my sister Amalia Ami's best friend." "Yep Amalia meet team SARD, our leader is  Shawn he's my partner, Ritsuko, and finally Declan."  Ami said hugging her tightly. How does she know so many people here? "Hey, where's your team anyway?" Ami asked looking around for a group of three. "Oh most of them were still asleep so they sent me to find a place to eat before we have to go to class. Our team consists of Weylyn, Me, Thaddeus, and Roisin guess who's my partner?"  Well, it seems that everyone else has their partner close to them in the algorithm. "Either Weylyn or Thaddeus." I said confidently. "Wrong it's Roisin weird huh." Amalia said with a laugh "Now come on we need to find a spot that can fit twelve people." She said running towards a table. "It's perfect let's put our bags down so people know that this our spot, while we grab some breakfast." Shawn said putting his bag down and going to the line to grab some breakfast. I put my bag down while I started to move towards the line hoping that ECHO won't make an appearance today. With that thought, I was able to grasp my food which was some bacon and scrambled eggs. When I sat down there were three different people that I didn't know arguing. "This would never have happened if you would have just gotten up when we asked you to." A boy with Blue hair said to another boy who had gold hair with streaks of jewel tones in it. "Well maybe if you didn't try to keep us all up all night we wouldn't be having this problem now would we." The boy with the golden hair retorted while the girl with fire red hair nodded her head in agreement. Then Amalia showed back up with a muffin now that I can get a good look at her I can see that she has Golden hair in a braid that reached her waist. she was wearing a light purple tee shirt with dark purple pants that had her symbol on them which was a golden sun and a brown belt that had a spot for her weapon to go into. "Will you all be quite your making a scene." She hissed. looking across the room glaring at anyone who spared our table a second glance. "Sorry, Amalia. Who are these people?" They asked. I looked behind me and saw the rest of both teams SARD and NEON before Amalia sighed and said. "One is the team of my older brother the other is the team of my sister figure now deal with it." "Alright, we'll play nice." the boy with golden hair said with a smirk. What is with this guy? "Behave, Thaddeus, as I'm sure you figured out that's Thaddeus, the other girl is Roisin and I'm Weylyn. It's nice to meet you all." "Not really." Thaddeus mumbled. "BEHAVE!" The rest of their team yelled at him which made him flinch back a bit.

 We were in the middle of straggly when an announcement went off WILL TEAM SARD REPORT TO THE HEADMASTERS OFFICE TEAM SARD TO THE HEADMASTERS OFFICE Odd I wonder what's going on I really hope we aren't going to be expelled. I stood up with the rest of the team and we started making our way down the hallways towards the Headmaster's office when Shawn finally broke the awkward silence. "Does anyone know what might happen when we get there?" He asked with a hint of fear in his voice with what was about to come. "Do you think we're being expelled?" Ami asked. "I have no idea. Sorry." I said softly. We started walking again each of us deep in our own thoughts. "I might have an idea but it's very personal," Ritsuko said quietly.  Just as we were getting into the elevator "Alright, thanks for letting us know. No matter what happens in there just know that I am so grateful to be able to call you all my friends." Shawn said getting misty-eyed. "Y-yeah like Shawn said I know we haven't known each other very long but I really hope we can keep up our friendship," Ami said just about to tear up but willing herself not to. "Yeah, thanks for showing me what it looks like outside the company walls," I said sniffling. We looked up at the numbers to see how many floors we had left and saw that we had two floors left to go so we all got into one big group hug, for what we feared would be the last time we would be able to. "Hey want to say our catchphrase one last time for good luck?" Shawn asked, "Is that even a question." Ritsuko replied. "Emprós!"  We all said at the same time just as the doors opened. "Hello students it is nice to see you all doing so well now I'm sure you must all be wondering why you're here? Correct." Headmaster Ozpin asked. "Yes sir," Shawn said taking the role of the leader in this situation.  "Are we being expelled?" Ami asked quickly. "Of course not. Although I can understand why you would think that way, with me calling you up here with no previous warning. No, I'm here to talk to you about what's really going on and about the need for special huntsmen and huntresses." The headmaster was  about to continue when Ritsuko cut him off. "Sir with all due respect do you really think that's such a good idea?" "Of course I do know let me explain all of your roles in this."
