Londyn's POV
Not wanting to fight with Louise anymore I snuck off. Gramps is gonna lose his mind when he realizes I skedaddled without my phone but I couldn't care less
I took off on foot because I was paranoid that I'd get pulled over by a cop.
As I'm making my four hour commute home I hear someone whistle at me
Yay creepy drivers my favorite
I turn around ready to curse them out and I see Myles
"Why are you walking alone on the side of the road half naked? That's an easy way to get trafficked."
"My family was doing too much so I ran off."
"Well get in I'm not leaving you here." he opened the passenger side
"Thanks."
He hummed in response
"Where were you coming from?" I asked
"The hospital."
"Are you okay?"
"I was visiting my mom she's sick."
"I hope she gets better." I told him
"Thanks." he smiled
The car ride was really quiet. Not uncomfortable just quiet
We reached my place
"I'm gonna go." he said
"You could stay. We can watch a movie so you don't have to be alone."
I wouldn't wanna be alone if my mom was in the hospital
"Thanks I'd enjoy company."
He followed me to the pool house and we went to my room
"So we can watch movies or play video games."
"Let's watch a movie."
We decided on a slasher movie
The movie was really boring and we fell asleep. That was a bad move because we were later awoken by yelling
"LONDYN VIOLET KNIGHT!" I shot out of bed to find gramps standing with his arms crossed
"Who's he?"
"He's a friend. He saw me walking home and drove me. I invited him to stay and we fell asleep watching a movie." I explained
"Leave." he growled
"Yes sir." Myles got up and left
"Why would you walk home when you're half naked? Do you know how dangerous that is? You could've been kidnapped, trafficked, raped, or killed. That was beyond reckless and I'm disappointed in you." he yelled
"Nothing I'm not used to." I rolled my eyes
"Enough with the pity party! If you're so miserable confront your issues instead of letting people walk all over you. You're stronger than you give yourself credit for. You'll learn that I'm very hard on people I believe in. You have a lot of potential but you need to be selfish sometimes and think about yourself. Today Louise went too far and I'm going to deal with her but I liked how you actually stood up to her."
"They treat me like shit and invalidate my emotions because I'm bipolar. They'll never see my side of things so why argue?"
"First off watch your mouth. Secondly I think you're partly to blame. You allow them to think what they want instead of putting them in their place. You also don't validate your own emotions which makes them feel at liberty to do the same. People will only show you as much respect as you give yourself. You have to make them understand that you have your limits too. "
